Fishing for Trout in the Summer in Michigan can be hit or miss when it comes to catching. The hot weather can put the fish down. And, don't even think about fishing on bright sunny days! But, if the weather participates, spinner fishing for big Brown Trout can be very productive. It's not a numbers game however. You will have to work hard and put in the time.
Don't get me wrong, trout fishing in the summer is always fun. It's a great way to get outdoors and enjoy the Summer while it's here. But you will be severely disappointed if you go in with high expectations more time than not.
Maybe it's a good time try fly fishing, but there is something about spinner fishing for Trout in the Summer. You will probably catch more trout on flies, but I would argue that you'll catch the bigger fish on spinners or cranks. And, if you're a regular watcher of my videos, you know I love fishing for BIG BROWNS!
So, with that, I give you my next summer time Brown Trout fishing video.
I hope you enjoy it.
