I don’t know which is worse.. The fact you’ve made a 20minute film about bream angling, or the fact that I quite enjoyed it 😂 variety is the spice of life mate, I always come back to carp fishing, but going after other species is SO SO fun!

Great watch joe and I'm a multi species angler although I do love catching carp I will also go for the barbel with my barbel rod and then for the roach and dace with my feeder rod I just enjoy being out and fishing no matter what it's for its all about enjoying yourself while your angling lookforward to watching your next species adventure

Great video mate, I get the quivertip out a couple of times a year to go for Bream, it’s great fun and really takes me back to the days of being a youngster and the buzz of just catching fish 🎣

Love the channel, great content! I got back into fishing a year ago, and although I love to catch carp I don't go all out with carp rigs/tactics etc, just love to fish. Makes me wonder why I ever stopped!

Good on you mate! My first ever coarse fishing was fishing the tip for bream with a little cage feeder groundbait and sweetcorn. Still some of the best fishing I’ve ever had. Sadly that lake is private now. Mostly carping these days but this makes me want to go back to the roots

Nothing wrong with catching a few snot bags. There’s a park lake, called Bryn Bach Park, near Tredegar, south Wales, that had some massive bream. The last time I fished there was 15 to 16 years ago, and I was catching bream up to 20lb with an open feeder and 10mm active 8 as hook baits. I lost count how many bream I caught between 13lb and 17lb. They were literally like dinner plates. I’ve no idea what the fishing’s like in there now though

There's not enough multi-species fishing videos out there IMHO. It's definitely easier recording bites on feeder fishing with shorter cast times than long waits between casting and bites or float fishing though.

Had 1 in my lifetime I think on carp gear again and it did fight really well!

Yeah absolutely, they fight like mad, I use 2lb carp rods for them just because when they get big, it's like hooking a.mini cat, that wraps it's self up. Some good rigs now to stop the deep hooking aswell. I use the twig rig myself ( not the OMC I might add)

Im fishing at a canal here in the Netherlands. And because i don't know anything about it and started fishing there like in the beginning of may. It's a couple of kilometers long so not the easiest. I now fish with one carp rod to see what will get the carp going. And a feeder rod just to keep me busy and finding out where the bream and other fish are caught the most. Like just a couple of meters out of the bank or just in the middle or the opposite bank. Nice to just have a feeder and at least catch something. And still learn about the water you're fishing. I like the carp video's but just trying some other fishing methods is also fun to see.

Lol I hate catching bream but I never forget it's not the fishes fault and that I've basically took a shotgun to a frog hunt when catching them on carp gear. They're awesome to catch on a feeder and float rod.

Great video. I love catching bream and use a nice soft 10ft feeder rod with a little 3000 size reel with 8lb line. I normally use a hybrid with a mix of method ground bait and 2mm pellet with a banded 8mm pellet on a size 14 hook. It's a lot of fun and sometimes get into single figure carp. Had a dozen bream upto 5lb last time out. As for the smell. I just embrace it and slip out of my bib and brace on the porch before heading inside to say hi to my wife!! More content like this please. I love carp fishing but my local day ticket is more of a coarse lake.

Enjoyed that I fish for all fish but bream one of my least favourite. Maybe do a tench one ? (My favourite along with barbel) like you say a lot more involved I think you can get lost on just one species and then end up going full circle . If you catch fish like that starting out you are made up that shouldn’t get lost in my opinion.
