I`ve had crappie in Frank`s & buttermilk and cornmeal, tasted pretty good . I want to catch a catfish and cook it up like you do, I`ve never been able to fry catfish. And I been frying & eating fish for almost 60 yrs. Thank You for bringing us along .

Lol I'm not good at lure fishing either only been trying last 3 years and I haven't caught many on lures but what I have caught was decent 12 carp , 5 flat heads that's about it I snag or just get tired throwing , I rather tight line

Man fishing just ahead of fronts when its going to rain/storm is the best man. Back in Mo, I would fish just ahead of strong storms that were tornado warned and it never failed to produce big fish, but some of my buds got spooked after seeing a funnel or two when we were out on the water lol. Just a side note, you ever try to fish alone those rock wall/banks?

I like when you fish smaller areas sometime. I live in a small town in Southern Indiana called Winslow. We have the mighty Patoka river that runs thru town. Our town is one of those that you don't want to blink you might miss it lol. Live about 40 miles north of the Ohio river in Evansville, Indiana and 9 mile south of Petersburg Indiana and the White River. Don't have a boat big enough for those river. So mostly if I go it is bank fishing. Have a lot of State forest pits and small lakes also. Wanting to go and catch some to eat soon. Enjoy when you show yourself cooking and eating. Thanks for the video.

I've caught some huge crappie in the rain in decent numbers. Nothin beats schooling sand bass, hybrids, and occasionally large mouth in among them in the rain with the sun shining directly over me in the heat of North East Texas many times. Only bad thing about that, is when the showers moves away. It's ten times hotter, and the moisture just becomes oppressive to the point you can't keep the sweat out of your eyes to see where you're casting to. PS One day that will all catch up with you, and 😅everything you look at sticks to you like you were glue, and it doesn't come off like the 10 pounds that appears in the winter, but disappears as soon as the first real warm day comes around.

Tree pounder=branch bass. Louisiana fish fry is the best. I agree 100%. I like the blue personally. Sometimes the yellow mixed with the red.

I stupidly got the wrong size alijoz reel 🤦‍♂️and not reading anything and out of sheer excitment, i put line on it. I noticed after i put the line on and thought, "that does not seem like a lot of line. So now i need to find a braid to put on it. Guessing 30lb since i got the wrong size reel.
