I use to catch monster reds like this at the tip of the Mayport jetty and in front of the jet engine test cell in front of NAS Jax. You can no longer fish in front of NAS anymore. I stopped because every monster I caught was wore out dead by the time I got it to the boat. Cut pogies for bait.
That was an awesome day of fishing. I was waiting on Parr 2 and it Did not disappoint. Crazy landing a double by yourself on two fish that size. Props to you!

It's going to be hard this year to get bait! Still trying to find out where I'm going to get bait myself! Will probably have to spend a few days a week catching my own! You might try Hawthorne Bait in Hawthorne! I don't have the number.
