Last time I went fishing for Bonefish, I caught a nice one. So I decided to go back out using the same technique. This time I caught a bigger one (4.6) on my 6.6ft pole and 12lb line. Awesome fight as always and I can't wait to go back out! I decided to keep this Bonefish to cook, most of the time I catch and release but once in a while I keep one to cook.

That was a mean fight, you got a work out in on that one. Nice catch. Heard there’s world record fish out there, imagine if that was a 20 pounda . I’ve caught one over 24 inch , on 25 pound test strongest fish I ever fight. I lost a lot of fish that day too , big ones broke me off on the reef. These fish are mean yeah!

@@SaltwatersHawaii I usually go after fish that are perfect size for the pan, or moi. So my tackle is usually on the lighter side. I wasn't going specifically for oio. Though when a bigger fish bites, it's a test of skill, and a good fight!

just wanted to say, I enjoy the videos, great editing and content. we fish the same areas although I don't get out as much as I used to a few years ago. keep up the stoke to fish, and mahalos for releasing the smaller guys so they can grow. check out my channel bumbai, not as fancy as yours but get action in same spot as you. I used to fish the "reef" drop off also in that same area and had some mean action out there but have never brought my GoPro out there. ALOHA

Again you are out enjoying life fishing in Paradise while I am still in a shelter in place condition. All of the beach parking lots here are closed as well as all of our state parks. Braddah can start adding to your viewers too clean up their mess and stop leaving their opala all over the beaches. Paiko and Kaiser mansion is been ridiculously crowded and choke opala all over. All these spots been clean and not as busy as I seen in the past few months
