Don't sweat it bro. Happens all the time. My daughter has out fished me several times. My fishing partner and I are always doing that. It's all good. Spending quality time with the ones you love. That matters more than catching fish.

I literally watched this as I was heading to catch small mouth and only ended up catching pike out of my small mouth spot so thanks for sending the pike you couldn’t get my way.

I love pike! That’s all I target when I go out! I would recommend using a leader when you go after them toothy dudes. I would hate to see one of those badass lures get stolen by one feisty pike. I have lost a few lures by not using leaders. Pike have no problems with eating bass lures too by the way, trust me on that! Great video dude!

Okay let me get things straight, idk how you Americans fish for pike but here in the Netherlands you really should use steel/titanium leaders, Pike easily snaps through your fishingline, even though when it's braided... Idk if European pike is more aggressive/bigger or anything but maybe you should use leaders the next time? Anyway, loved to be a part of your fishingtrip, very entertaining video, so a big thumbs up!

Guys Always use a Steel Leader. In Front of your bait. Pike will Just bite trough your Line. An try Jogginghose the soft plastics ist way more effective. Sorry for bad english And by the way those are not the spots pike are hanging around

you never leave the first time you say you're gonna leave. That's tradition for every fisherman. Theres like 50 lures you gtta try "real quick and then we'll leave"

I know you are a plug/crank bait guy, but when it comes to pike, try a Mepps Cyclops (spoon). Northern Pike love them up here in Ontario. This sounds like it would be very complicated, but what if you made a Cyclops knock-off out of plastic (maybe a collaboration with Epic Baits?.?...) Love your channel! Keep'em coming!

If you're looking for pike, try out the mouth of the Prairie creek just above the dam on the SE side. That place holds a bunch of large ones around the bridges.
