Because of your videos, I have started to make my own lures. Finished my first one today which was a lipless crankbait and it works perfectly. Need to work on my airbrush skills though because the paint job is just above hot garbage level. But thanks for giving me the confidence to try a new hobby. You're truly an inspiration.

Got it just in time for the cold months. I Currently live in an apartment, I miss being able to have a fire pit. Bait turned out pretty good. Loved the design. Big fish going after smaller "fish" with a jig in it's mouth.

Coupla questions: 1: Why do you draw your templates in a notebook and cut the page out rather than using loose graph paper? 2: Could you add a vent to the mold to allow for a more consistent pour and to avoid air bubbles?

You need to make a half hard bait and half plastic bait. Berkley, years ago, made a trap with one treble and a tail that was plastic that you could switch out/replace. OR you could make a weedless crank bait..........

You should find a more resilient material for your initial carving. Obviously, softwood won't survive the carving process. HDPE?
