Sam Fitness did not anticipate that climbing up a tree on a summer's evening with friends would result in him living the rest of his life as a C5 complete tetraplegic. For Sam, life now is all about patience. Day-to-day activities take much longer, but as a keen fisherman Sam is no stranger to the waiting game. Six years on from his accident, he's discovered ingenious ways to wish - with a drone. Resilient and motivated, he has also travelled through Europe and is connecting with sport again through wheelchair rugby. He is continuing to strive, patiently, for independence. / attitudepictures
