If you are in a creek no one can kick you out as long as you access it without trespassing. Flowing bodies of water are owned by the state and cannot be private unless an organization leases access. As long as you are in the creek bed you are 100% allowed to be there.

You did a good job of handling the situation respectfully.

You were more kind and courteous than 99% of anyone else would be. Hats off to you for taking the high road.

That woman was borderline. If somebody comes at me with attitude and commands me to do whatever I do not comply, I let them know they are in the wrong and continue on my way. When they threaten to call law enforcement I immediately call them and tell the cops that I am being harassed while legally fishing and request police presence. If they are polite and ask kindly for me to leave I will usually comply unless the fishing is fire. Never let the Karen's win.

This is in the top 3 best fishing videos I’ve ever watched. Maybe even my favorite. I was literally living vicariously thru you in this video and it brought me back to my childhood adventures thru creeks. I STILL love going in creek adventures. Especially fishing. And man if I came up on an abandoned water park, holy crap!! That would be so awesome!! I LOVED this video. Thanks for fully capturing the water park with all your angles and stuff. It gave me chills!

Great video! Being able to stay within the creek is correct in most states. You can go to your local central appraisal office and see who owns the land around the creek. I had the same thing happen to me while I was in college (many years ago). This old man was a well known realtor in the town ran me off very rudely. I went and checked it out at the CAD office and he didn't own the side I was fishing on, it belonged to the city. I asked the clerk for a couple of copies of the land survey to keep in my tackle box. (The clerk at the CAD knew who the old was and didn't like him either and was glad for me to have the right docs.) I never saw him again. But my fishing buddy's did. It got ugly I was told, police called and all that mess. The old man finally backed down. In Abilene TX, you don't have a lot of places to fish.

Was it me or did that lady admit to having a water moccasin nest in her park? Asking for a friend.😁 As always your videos never go as planned. That's what makes them so interesting!

Any land/water below the high water line is public in Wisconsin we also have a wet boot law that allows us while wading to enter any property(shortest distance possible) to pass an obstacle while fishing etc. This applies and aids to small stream trout fisherman like myself especially. Glad you got to slam some fatties before the fuzz showed up!

I know in my state you can't own a water way, so you can't stop anyone from walking a creek or river just because it goes through your property. As long as you stay within 15ft of the bank there's nothing they can do. Name the RV park and we will leave them some bad reviews \
