Thanks Ivor, yes I've tried it before, it's good... I don't keep the ones I've caught though, catch and release fishing only :-)

@@andyhartfishing Yeah same here mine was in a family friends restaurant in Suphanburi. think i was the only farang that had been there in a long time .

@@andyhartfishing No never been but i'd love to,i believe they make pike look mard, jeremy wade went spear fishing for them up north and the story he tells about them is pretty gruesome . have you seen the episode ?

@@ivornappinion9406 I have, yes... well I highly recommend it, specially with surface lures, exciting stuff when you get those topwater explosions!

Thank you! The guys I went with are a Thai outfit, on FB called 'Chiewlarn fishing', but I can also recommend Neil from 'Fishing Khaolak' who knows Chiewlarn well. It's an epic place, I'm sure you'll enjoy

Couldnt find you on fb Ben but enjoyed seeing your trip to the Essequibo though, looks awesome.. was going to be heading there myself later this year but unfortunately covid has put paid to that for the time being...maybe next year
