Every morning the first thing I do when I wake up is to check if Jesse has uploaded another classic. Today was no disappointment. Keep up the amazing work! Jesse Welles is an American treasure.
The man is just the inspiration this wayward soul needs... I eagerly await every drop as well. This is no exception. He has inspired me to write, to learn covers, to do videos of me playing guitar on my porch... to buy a tripod.
just saying this to say it but man, I love your work. the music you create brings me so many emotions every time I hear something new you produce. I really wish you good luck with this talent, and hope that it brings you joy in life in one way or another, either through fame or just continuing to share it here with us strangers on the internet. i've enjoyed every piece that i've heard from you, which is crazy for me. I can't explain how often your lyrics or the melodies you've made enter my mind, making me just stop and think. I hope you realize that you're having a true impact and are incredibly appreciated, the world is a brighter, clearer place with you in it!
Love your work. Your pace is hard to keep up with as a consumer. I can't imagine how you do it as a creator! And, just when i think i know what to expect, you show even more versatility. Your skill and humanity shine.
haha idk hes probably not putting up one video, getting a response and running back out to the field with a camera. like oh crap better do another song, people liked that. I think they were there ready and then its more like feeling the time is right to post it.
Love this one a lot. Hope you post lyrics soon. Edit: Here's the lyrics: Spent the whole night through Feels so good to be with you Lazy yellow moon coming up through the night Shining through the trees Crickets are singing and lightning bugs Are floating on the breeze Baby get ready Across the field where the creek turns back By the old stump road I'm gonna take you to a special place That nobody knows Baby get ready You and me going fishin' in the dark Lying on our backs and counting the stars Where the cool grass grows Down by the river in the full moonlight We'll be falling in love in the middle of the night Just movin' slow Spent the whole night through Feels so good to be with you Spring is almost over and the summers coming The days are getting long Waited all winter for the time to be right Just to take you along Baby get ready And it don't matter if we wait forever And the fish don't bite We'll hop in the river and cool ourselves From the heat of the night Baby get ready You and me going fishin' in the dark Lying on our backs and counting the stars Where the cool grass grows Down by the river in the full moonlight We'll be falling in love in the middle of the night Just movin' slow Spent the whole night through Feels so good to be with you
Good morning, Jesse and various other beautiful humans! Popping in from my dirt road wake and bake to enjoy another jam. 💚 Sending Love and Light from Mississippi. Y’all stay safe and keep taking care of each other. ✌🏼
I love this Nitty Gritty Dirt Band song so much, great cover Jesse, you made me cry, this song was played constantly at our house in the 80’s, 90’s, it is my one of our sons favorite songs ever . ❤️TY
I don’t do Facebook or social media, because I got a BTI in a severe multi car accident in Riverside, California in 2013, when my mom almost died, my sister & zI took turns watching over mom, and we were the head of her medical decisions because my dad already had Dementia, for a few years before. My mom was so strong and beautiful, she lived because of her strong love for my dad, she wanted to take care of him, but I promised her in March that my siblings and I would take good care of him. We have reservations for our hotel in So Cal in a few weeks, we leave, and just in time, because he is dying right now and he begged me to stay with him when it was his time. Now it is his time. He’s holding on waiting for me. It is our 45th wedding anniversary but we are celebrating quietly, coz we need to usher dad across the veil. We just had our third and final grandchild in July and we couldn’t leave. We live in the San Juan Islands of Washington and we are going to the Outlaw Festival at the Gorge in 3 days, it would have been my parents 70th anniversary on Sunday, and I needed something fun, to distract me, then we get ready to leave again. I absolutely love your music, This Is Not My Song is playing on my internal soundtrack, music always playing in my brain, since I was born and sing, I played concert violin, but really I learned because I wanted to play bluegrass fiddle, then I got my first guitar and lessons at 17.
@@72marshflower15 It’s a great song from the 80’s, we have most of the NGDB’s CD’s, they are awesome.👏 We took our oldest son to see them at this beautiful Art Nouvou Theatre in Bellingham, WA, in 2012, and they were fantastic, they performed The Weight mashed with May The Circle Be Unbroken and everyone in that huge theater was on their feet singing and crying tears of joy and gratitude for Levon Helm, our son included.
The world is spinning at 1000 miles an hour and is also flying around the sun at 67000 miles an hour. All ya got to do is take each minute of those hours as easy as possible. You're doing great, keep up the good work!
i'd like to say I'm surprised but I'm really not, at this point everything that comes out of Jesse's guitar harmonica and voice always seems to be satisfying! That was fantastic, thank you Jesse!
Sang along with that nitty gritty dirt band song with ya (not sure who wrote it though). Love the Ozark Mountain Daredevils version also , some Springfield MO. Band, smile, if you wanna get to heaven, Jesse, keep raising a little or a lot of HELL in your lyrics . Keep ‘em coming.
Husband & I are celebrating our 33 year wedding anniversary & it’s because we spend all nights fishing on the peace river and hiking in the woods is our favorite places to be 🌴🌳🌲🌴🚶♀️🚶♂️🌴🌲in the grove🌲🌴🌳in the groove🌳🌲🤘🏼🌈💖💕💜🫠

Flawless vibes my friend. Love waking up to new jesse uploads. I start every morning with "that can't be right" it's my favorite to sing along too. This guy really has something. Something I think we've all been looking for and waiting to hear. His voice is amazing but his lyricism is really brilliant. Unbelievable song writing skills. he's a fantastic story teller.
