That place is in Guam so don’t worry haters because it’s our fish and we’ve been fishing and catching these fishes for thousands of years and we still get plenty of fish coming into our waters because we are surrounded by the great Pacific Ocean and miles of reefs surrounding the whole island!
Did this once back in Guam almost died jumping over a hole, and yes we do eat all that fish we have HUGE families in Guam, we also have huge festivals in Guam as well this is a good way to support your family without having to go to the store and buy fish.
To you folks saying this is not fishing blah blah blah, this is one traditional method of fishing on Guam. And no, it doesn't destroy anything. These methods have been practiced for generations, and we eat and share our catch. So please stop being so ignorant; we know how to respect our environment.
Lol always ppl from big countries that are acting like haters, it's not that man with his net that will caught all fish from the ocean, that'd be more the big boats that clean the ocean to make your sushis
cast netting is my favourite way to fish clean no snagged line polluting the water fresh bait is best and if you only take what you need it is better for the environment than buying bait at the shop.
+Gregorio Jose I hold nothing against this mans catch but by saying its the ocean means nothing. The worlds ocean fisheries are down by more than 85 percent.
All of those who are talking about this man in the video, have you forgotten that your P-pils kills much more than his act. Don't forget the other gigantic net fishing that catches tones of fish
For all you haters out there if he can catch that much in a signal throw imagine how many fish are in that place and trawlers aren't wiping out all the fish most of the planet is ocean so imagine how many fish there are in the whole word
Guam. No limits there on the island. He probably took what he needed for him and his family, passed some to his neighbors, then gave the rest to a market. That's how it works there
bad idea. I once saw this guys net drift out with the current and got tangled in the reef. It was the rough season so we couldn't get to it and could see several big fish were already tangled inside, it was such a waste.
They think he's overfishing but forget about the huge vessels out at see the haul in thousands of fish and even kill other aquatic species like dolphins or even turtles. Cast netting is one of the oldest forms of fishing and when he brings in that haul, his family is gonna have a feast!
Quite good talk but quite!! Finally someone who knows fishing and especially to eat and NOT those who destroy nature has to sell PEOPLE who like criticism and who buys the fish market! We were fishing for food and not for sale!!!
Non mais bourle ce mec ... il se prends pour un boss de d'épervier alors que tout les poissons sont prisonniers 😂😂😂😂 non mais allô... C'est comme flinguer une bête à l'abattoir.
DEACON Mcgill he and I live on the same island and we both have families to feed so I'd say that's just the right ammount. When a fisherman here on guam brings home a big catch to his family they celebrate by cooking all the fish, eating, chatting and listening to music while having fun. Plus this is how the people of guam have fished for over a thousand years, it's tradition.
