Most spools require some kind of spring clip to mess with to take them off and install back. Not worth the trouble so this is only practical for small minority of reels.
Thank you for the video… All I’ve ever owned is the old school Abu Garcia round baitcasters and they aren’t that bad to tie the line on… But recently I got a quantum smoke and I had a really hard time getting line on it until I realized how easily it came apart… lmao thanks for the video…😄

That's a good nott but not good for fishing or that fishing reel ... First C cast the line is going to get super jacked up on that big not going to have all kinds of bird nest and the next thing you know you're pissed off and ready to
But, if you guys check his other video about the spinning reel, it's the same knot and it's understandable!! And it's a great knot, totally worth checking it. 😉
