We love it because it's no drama, no politics, just fishing. Always informative. I am in South Alabama and plan to come up to Guntersville one of these days. Hope to see you there.
I felt that when you said you loved each and every one of us. I got a little teary-eyed. Love you too and your videos. And hope to meet and fish wid ya one day.
I've watched you for a while, and I'll keep watching because there isn't any politicking or name calling, just a good man teaching people to fish. You're a faithful man, but you don't push your religion on others, and that speaks volumes. I'm sure a lot of us share this sentiment and we look forward to another Richard Gene fishing video. "And remember! Go fishing when you can; cause it's good Fer you!" 26:17
We appreciate everything you do. You are one of the few truly versatile anglers out there. I am a versatile angler from birth. Lol. And I appreciate you showing new and old techniques that most anglers won't. Great video.
Thank you for your videos, great information!! I love the tips you give!! My brother met you one day. He is a special agent with the state Police. He was working and saw you and talked with you!! My 3 month old granddaughter likes to watch your videos with me.
Richard Gene is a good ol' boy. A product of the South. Someone I can easily relate with. The world can use more Richard Gene's. I have ran a parallel path staring with walking creeks, swamps, and ponds. Finally got a boat about 40 years ago, lol. WOOO! " It's good fer ya!"
Super great video and we love getting all the info, you have helped me to be a much better fisherman Thank You Richard my friend! God's blessings always! 😇
Thank you Richard for all you do …. I got to meet up with you last year in Guntersville you are a true legend in the sport of fishing and a good ambassador for our sport. Thanks From Middle Tennessee. Still waiting on your call to come up here and fish Center Hill or Dale Hollow with me😂.
I use 1cup of salt per 10 gallons of tank volume. It works great for me im just above you in Knoxville. You got me going on the ultra light line and less wieghts. I mean woo, WOoooo! You are my favorite fishing channel
Another fine video, Richard! I'm on Lewis Smith Lake, and like you said, IT'S HOT!!! Catching nice fish helps you forget the heat for a moment! Keep doing what you love! God bless ALL of us! WWG1WGA
Made the day complete seeing your video pop up. As usual, done yourself proud. And as usual, you are right about hot weather fishing. Those fish aint dumb. They don't wanna be up in that hot shallow water. This time of year, I generally go early and late. But, if you aint fishin, you ain't gonna be catchin. Thanks so much for all the tips and sharing your knowledge with us God bless y'all and stay safe out there on the water, my friend.
Everything is fattening up bigger than normal for this time of year. That is a sign of a early, hard winter. Some pretty bass. I have found the fish of the Tennessee River all the way from Knoxville to Paducah to be doing very well and healthy. That's good because fishing is a sport second to none. 😉 Thanks, Richard!
Nice catch Richard, I went out today after a big front yesterday. Didn’t do well in medium to deep water. So I started to fish a bass sized popper over some shallow spots, got three nice smallmouths and a few big bluegills 👍
Richard thanks for the great videos. You are fun to watch and full of fishing knowledge. I am not able to fish right now after hip surgery but hope to be out there in a few weeks.
My best friend and fishing companion Lemmy dog and I thank you so much for your entertainment. If it wasn’t for your tricks we sure wouldn’t be out here catching so much adrilogen! (And so many fish!)
Richard Jean! We love you too man! Absolutely love your videos! You have taught me so much about fishing that I didn’t know and hell I’m 58 years old! Thank you Sir! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🎣 would absolutely love to fish with you one day. Would be Honored!!
Richard, may I give you a tip? Stop using nets with coated weights. The nets with true lead sink faster and you'll catch more bait with each throw. I normally only have to throw my net once. Betts and Super Spreader make some great nets with true lead weights that are affordable for most people.
Hey Richard great Video, I grew up fishing for strippers at lake Texoma, many times off the Spillway, the shad are Shocked from coming out of the drains and wash into the eddies and backwash, So fresh dead shad isn’t much different from live shad… Also small perch are great long lasting bait in hot weather
Hey Fishing machine! You remind me of fishing with my ol’man, when I was younger. Thanks for all the great content. Wondering if you’d consider fishing that same point at night with a green light to beat that summer heat?
Bar none Richard you got it together when it comes to fishing. I think you could catch them in a mud hole thanks for all the information you give us to make us better at fishing thanks man
It's easy to like you Richard you are a positive guy. No one likes a negative Nancy. The other big one for me is you put your ego aside. Fishing and hunting alike are plenty full of egos. I also appreciate your Love and Respect for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. None of this would be possible without him blessing us everyday.
Thanks so much for your videos. You’re the best!!! in one of your videos you mentioned the need for polarized sunglasses to be able to see the fish and you said you got yours at Walmart. I’m having trouble finding them. Can you share that information?
Mr. Richard I love your channel, great video. I love live bait fishing. I got a question for you. I’m starting to use braid I can not get my leader tied correctly. I need help
I’m working in Stevenson,Alabama, trying to catch some crappie on my off days, any suggestions for this area would be greatly appreciated. Really enjoy your videos!
