Fishing My First Offshore Saltwater Fishing Tournament 

My Husband & I usually travel to Panama City Beach in the Summers, but after watching your video I think we'll visit Mexico Beach instead for a couple of years. Thank you for updating us on Mexico Beach & I would like to Challenge all the other Lawson Lindsey fans to visit Mexico Beach for their Florida Vacation for the next couple of years as well, they really need everyone's Help right now. It would be really cool to meet some of y'all there as well!

If you are still in Mexico beach stop on the way back at Lafayette park in Apilachicola you can fish of the dock for some small reds trout black drum gar silver perch and all different kind of species. Also if you can stop at shell mound park in-cedar key at high tide you can catch some Spanish mackerel also flounder at low tide try going it on a flat with a small shrimp or lure and get hooked up with some small reds. Also in Seckel beach road there is a bridge with a little creek it is absolutely great multi species fishing

I appreciate you giving Mexico Beach a shout out when they need it. They got hit really hard, and they could use the love....

Kudos to you Lawson for making your subscribers aware that just because the news doesn’t mention it, all the people who lost everything. Some obviously were able to rebuild and stay. Perhaps someone watching this might take the time to find some of those people who lost and couldn’t rebuild and interview them to make the rest of the country aware of what it’s like to live in a normally gorgeous area, but when nature decides to destroy everything in its way, how the people who live through it but lose everything cope with what comes after.

Cyndi and Kevin are the best. We camped in their yard the week after the hurricane while were were working to clear debris after the storm. It's amazing how far Mexico Beach has come, yet there is so far to go. The tourism does help. A LOT!

Thanks so much for coming to the MBARA Kingfish Tournament and posting your video. You have to come back to MB and fish for fun, especially during our red snapper season. It's the absolute best. But you can catch different fish here all year. Vermillion is one of the best and easiest on the artificial reefs.

Seems like the big Kings always disappear on tournament day lol. Good job on the Amberjack though! I know those can be tough on that light tackle.

Hi, I really would like to participate in tournaments, just love the competition and of course fishing. Problem is I don't live in the us, do you have any suggestions how to starts a crazy and venture as tournaments fisherman? I know it sounds crazy 🤣 but worth the shot

I love penn reels, battle, spin fisher but the new graphite rods they pair them with from penn are junk! I've broke 3 on big snook and 1 on a huge catfish!! So frustrating! I put my reels on Star rods and no problems now!

Bro my family and I go to Port St Joe every year for the past 9 years for vacations. Very close to Mexico beach which we also drive into town for food. But this past July we didn't due to damage.

Good stuff!!! Would've liked to see a bit more success with the target fish --- but buddy, that's fishing - tourny or not!!! I enjoyed that anyway. It's hard after devastation (regardless of type) -- it's important that others are aware, so I applaud you on recommendation of that area. So maybe make a point to have a meet and fish thing sometime....... bring people - it does and will make a difference.

Yo when you go for kingfish in mexico beach you are mostly suppose go to a spot that is actually 20 miles of the mexico beach and as soon you hit 150 on radar go on slowly and try to see if drops to 250 quick and you cast a live sardine you will catch one. I was there literally 2 days ago with group of friends and we got 4 each and a giant king that was over 50lbs. There is alot of comnercial fishernan that go to that spot try it next time

You missed a few deaths in the U.S. . Puerto Rico was the most impacted place in America and people seem to forget that.
