Man!!! That Emperor was FLAWLESSLY camouflaged for the sea bottom he was cruising!!!! If he was just sitting still you guys could walk right past him and not see him AT ALL even if looking right at the bugger!!! I've been a nature obsessed person my entire life, nearly 50 years, and I still get bewildered ALL THE TIME!!!! The way some things are built for their environment is simply amazing!!!! The wild part is that fish is big enough to definitely qualify as a predator, and likely a top predator in waters that shallow!!! Brooksy, Here in the USA they make a basket for mending your line. as you strip line into the open basket , when you hook a fish you just point your rod at the fish till it gets on the reel. God Bless
