Black sea bass, fluke and scup fishing at the mouth of the Sakonnet, Little Compton in a foggy morning with my dad. Seas were calm but the drift was too slow. I even tried power drifting at some point. We fished from 7:30 to noon. We mainly fish in 45’ to 55’ deep. Because of the fog we didn’t venture to far from shore. There were plenty of black sea bass. We got about a dozen keepers only keeping 4 nice ones. The fluke bite was a bit slow at times and hot sometimes but only shorts. The biggest one was 18-3/4”. There were some dogfish and sea robins but nothing crazy. All in all, we had a good time.
