I'm planning on visiting Dallas ft worth area next month. Would appreciate some tips on good fishing holes. I understand if you dont want to give up your spots but I would really like to do some fishing on while I'm there.
I see yall were at whiterock lake in Dallas. I go there a lot anyway. Yall were on the bank with that walkway bridge behind you. There is actually a 5 pound coy fish that hangs out under that bridge.
I used to fish at White rock Lake. However, I don’t think it’s that good the water is very nasty. There are some pretty sweet spots around there though
When I met you at the Googan opening I told you I'd take you to White Rock....... at least you didn't find my secret spots out there! LOL Believe it or not, there is a few big ones in that lake. Caught my PB of 7.5 lbs there last Spring.
Hey! Hit me up for a third next time yer in Dallas! Grew up in Grand Prairie, cut my teeth in yaks and small skids out at Joe pool as a kid. Find myself trekking to the south side of Dallas for some biggies in the trinity or a couple low-key little ponds in the cedars for some fiesta small mouth! I stay ten minutes from white rock and my partners condo is on Ray Hubbard, haha, so the scouting for new spots NEVER STOPS!
Yeah it’s the vlog life haha. By the time you carry a camera with you and know you’ll have to pick stuff up every time you make a move down the bank, you realize ya might as well just bring extra rods with other stuff tied on for quick swaps while filming haha
Dude I’ve hoped the fence here and fished for an hour. There were no trespassing signs whenever I was there but damn it was so beautiful and peaceful I ignored the rules.

It put me out action from the start of December last year. And only for the last 2 weeks now I have been fish about 3 to4 times a weeks all up. Lol i just kicked out at the Rip Rap at White Rock by the cops the other day. Good Crappie and Largemouth spot. If you like Carp those are abundant in that area as well as White Bass
