My grandma has a pond on her farm land and there's a bluegill spawn right on the side when you first enter and every year we catch 50-60 bluegill, gather family and have a fish fry Georgian style 😎

I do most of my bass fishing with live bait on a float/ strike indicator. I use artificial bait in the spring but it seems as the fish get better feed naturally they are less likely to bite on artificial in a creek. I'm speaking more about creek bass, in particular and small and large mouth. rock bass bite much like panfish because they are.
