Get yourself a wok ladle to ladle the hot oil over your larger fish. It saves you having to flip the fish and gets those bits that don’t quite fit into the wok.
Had so much fun fishing out of Orange Beach last winter. Caught triggers, B-liners and other snappers. All delish. We stayed at Doc's RV park. I highly recommend Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area to any traveller. Great people, food, scenery.
I just went on a fishing trip out of Venice, LA and have been watching videos from the area and of course The RU-vid algorithm has taken over and has (luckily for me) provided me with your entertaining videos. Your hard work is evident! You provide some great cooking techniques and fishing tips. God Bless!
The way you spiked, bled, and iced that almaco, it would have made for some of the best sashimi on earth! 🎉 cool channel, I’ve enjoyed every video I’ve watched!
I have been seeing that jig everywhere online the past couple weeks and I have been very interested. Thanks for the demo and congrats on the channel blowing up, I think your subs have doubled since I’ve been deployed and it couldn’t happen to a better person. God bless brother
Thanks, those jigs have been so hard to get because there's nothing like them! I'm glad I got my hands on some and I do enjoy using them for sure. Thanks man!
Steven, love you videos particularly this one! I served on M60s in the 80s.... nice to see they are still in use lol. My wife and I just back from a trip to Orange Beach and we are thinking of maybe getting a place there. Good seeing your 1st Cav cap. Be safe.
I was screamin fix your rod!!! but you were still catchin em lol. Love your videos! Lived in Josephine for a long time.. miss it down there, especially pirates cove cheeseburgers!
Love your content! Am new to saltwater fishing and find your content very informative. Makes me wanna jook on the boat and jead out in the gulf over here in Mississippi Thanks for the inspiration AND information!
Okay you have convinced me that I need to try saltwater fishing, please help me with a shopping list of tackle to buy, I already bought a Penn spinning real what else would you suggest?
Another awesome video Stephen! That Squidtrex is catching fish all over the world! Excellent adventure that you took us along for and that fried fish looked delicious! Keep up the great work and I’ll keep watching! Peace and love from the UK
That sand pearch looks like a fish my son caught in Destin on Captain Andersons charter they called it a squirrel fish. But will say after how hard those snapper were hitting that nomad you know what to throw this June. Well after may 24th or 26th when bama snapper season opens
I don't do salt water much but your videos are awesome man, and very informative ONCE when I was 10 I caught a jack. I have a picture some where. Keep on rocking videos
Thought I was the only one down here slow pitching with lo pros 😂 Was at ram Powell this weekend on an overnight black fin trip, and we slayer em. Nice video. New sub.
We use the Norwegian fire log to cook a lot of times in the woods. You just gotta make sure you don’t cut all the way thru the end of the stick of wood so you can pour your accelerant in the log to get it going and once she’s going it’s a beautiful cooking fire and the absolute perfect fire for coffee and tea. There’s nothing like cooking outside in the most primitive ways. Another great video keep ‘em coming
Loved the catch n cook looked delicious 👍👍 You guys that live down there are so blessed with the variety of great eating fish you can catch. I think you could eat fish every day for a month n never eat the same one twice.
Hey Steven, thanks for making me and others feel through your videos that we are fishing with you. Not as good as real life, but good in the way that it is dead winter in South Dakota for me and I don’t enjoy ice fishing.
Hey Bama first time seeing that done to a redfish that's crazy liked seeing that big girl swim off so fast like the way you do things just noticed left handed baitcaster ive got to have the same keep it up you joked about smell vision wish we had taste vision that stuff looks
Great video, man. I was given a few of those Squidtrex jigs last week, and I’m curious how they hold up to the triggerfish that we have around here (I’m in Pensacola). Do they stand up to those jokers, or do they get wrecked by triggers like every other soft plastic that I put down when I’m offshore?
your videos are really cool to watch, i would like if you could let us know your target species each time. Us freshwater fisherman dont know whats in or out of season. thanks
