I had a similar day down near key largo off of a sea wall casting into bridge. I caught the crab first then two sheepshead slabs. My heart was pounding .
I subscribed to your channel a few years ago, when u were first starting out. Subscribed basically because we fish a lot of the same areas. Your channel has come a long way! Those triggers are very tasty. They fight real good too. Skin is real tough to cut through. Haven't caught a sheepshead yet but hear they're very tasty.

Sheepshead bay in NYC is actually named after the large sheepshead population that used to be in the area but overfishing in the northeast has made it very difficult to find them north of the Jersey shore
We have great NJ sheepshead fishing in cape may this time of the year. it was the best kept secret for the longest time. Awesome to see people getting at it. Also so happy for Dillon grinding it out on the jetty and absolutely crushing them. Great video
i am surprise it is possible to catch sheep in surf jetti. they remind me of the snapper. So you went to surf jetti during high tide? and when low tide the sheepshead go near the shallow docks?
Nice fish, you should fish for them more....They're all over the place here in summer, and that's probably about the average size. I don't know why, but there's not many small ones this far north.
