Never thought I’d see the day that Disney makes a self-insert isekai videogame. If this was an isekai anime, it would be titled: “I wanted a break from my life in the city, but I woke up in my childhood cartoon movie world.”
There's another isekai mobile game they have in JP Is a rhythm game Hogwarts-like and full of husbandos (the creator and artist is the mangaka of Kuroshitsuji) Aaaand recently announced there will be an anime of that ... A DISNEY ANIME👀
Holy cow! Gab's eye for Disney is spot on! The characters used to write out the diary pages ARE from the Atlantis movie! The page at 19:00 translates to [probably]: [Th]is diary be longs to ruler of [D]reamlight [V]ally. [P]rivet [Do] not read.. EDIT: They all read the same thing. Just arranged around the page differently. And the first word *This* is spelled Thhis at 27:00
@@mariasmith3020 The guy who made the language for the movie has actually put out the alphabet, it’s not very hard to learn if you’re good at cyphers, for example. I learned to read/write the Atlantis alphabet recently because I was curious after my previous annual rewatch 😂 I can only count to 10 though, but I can guess out of how the characters are put together how to write to more than ten, but not how to pronounce it. I also learned how to read/write the Blair witch alphabet, so 😂
I also noticed it was spelled Thhis 😂 And the notes confused me so much at the start, because I read the notes before reading the subtitles for the notes, and what the note says and what the subtitles say are completely different.
Seems like everyone loves a valley! Dreamlight Valley, Stardew valley, Hidden Valley. This is really cute! The animations are so bouncy and colorful, it makes me cheerful.
Why is this the most adorable RU-vidr ever and why have I never heard about this channel? Her reactions to everything are so cute, she could be watching a blank screen and it would still be captivating lol.
She’s fantastic right? One day she’s gonna get the recognition she deserves, I wish everyone knew about Gab she’s so wholesome and always makes my day 😁
I'm honestly surprised she doesn't have as much attention as she deserves. She's absolutely precious, I'm really glad I found her through Sean, both of them are just amazing.
@@lacytaylor1501 It's nice being able to watch someone and not feeling like I constantly have to brace for vulgarity of some kind, crude language or inuendo. Like I get it, people are grown and can indulge as they please and I'm not trying to control who gets to say what, but we need family friendly "neutral" ground where people can just go to relax. Politics don't matter, social issues don't matter, this is the safe zone where you can have fun without your guard up and the fun is as simple as it gets.
@@_The_Traveler_ I like a little bit of it all honestly, a bit of adult humor now and again and then to have the more family friendly stuff too, that's why I enjoy Sean, Gab, Mark, and a lot of others because they have such variety, between nice calm games, horror, reactions and so much more. Even Gab has her moments although not as much as Sean and others. In fact it's all the more humorous when the really sweet ones suddenly make a sort of dirty joke or swears, because then it reminds you that even sweet people can be devious.
@@lacytaylor1501 Very well said, I can see the nuance to your point and I agree. I just think Gab is relatively benign compared to a lot of other content I've seen on RU-vid over the years, content from the early 2000s that would make her look like a preschool teacher even at her most vulgar lol.
What was shown was the Ultimate Edition of the game (if you're looking at the Switch). That's why she had the wolf and turtle pets, space and royal themed clothing, and a bunch of furniture. It costs $69.99 for that version. Deluxe has 10 furniture items, all standard items, turtle pet, space themed outfit, and a few other things for $49.99. Looks like it's releasing as a free game, just a pay to play now sort of thing.
From my understanding from other reviewers there is no pay 2 win in this game. Sure there are some cosmetic stuff available but it''s still very limited. It should not put of any players afraid of pay 2 win at the moment. Although we don't know what they might implement in the future..
@@LukasM-r9e The chests and bags she finds are part of the game. The purchased cosmetics included in the Ultimate Edition appear in your mailbox and are directly moved to your inventory.
I was a little sceptical of this game as I felt like I'm not in the target audience as oldish and not a die hard Disney fan. But since it's on Game Pass I thought I'd give it a go. -After getting past the first half an hour I'm actually loving it lol 😁 Curious as to how the game will turn out at full release though. You can play it fine without any micro transactions atm, but it will be a free to play game..
@@isabelbelem9062 In the early access version not at all. Been enjoying it for many hours, though it does get kinda grindy like most these games after a while. They have said it's only gonna be paid DLC content and cosmetics in a battle pass like setup. So fingers crossed they'll keep it clean 😊
This made the inner Disney-loving child in me super excited 😄✨ I remember seeing an ad for this a while back, but it looks so quaint and fun, I may have to give it a go!
This game and it's art style reminds me of a disney princess game I played when I was little. I love seeing how you're as excited as I am about this game, it's one of those games that makes you feel like a kid again
As much of a Disney watcher I am, I’m not entirely a fan of the business. But watching your video has brought such nostalgia of what I used to watch, as well as learned, over the years. I think I might actually pick up the game.
same! I hate the company and how much of a cash grab they are, but the game actually seems fun and to be able to interact with the characters that I love watching as a kid just makes me want to forget that yeah, I'll pay for an "incomplete" game that'll be free to play soon! haha!
@@grey3414 I also hate disney, leaves a bad taste in my mouth lol. But i LOVE this game! The only downside are bugs, but since it was recently released, that’s to be expected.
i too have quite fond memories of disney, buuut have the unshakable feeling, that this game really is mostly memberberries and nostalgia-bait still, i hope it's somewhat of a success, maybe bringing the company to also 'member their former ways
@@moon-shrimpy I _do_ hate it when people say that. "It's just been released so there will be bugs." Before internet patching was mainstream, games _had_ to be complete and bug-free before being released. And they were. If you had said; "It's early access, so some bugs can be tolerated," then I'd agree. But it's still lazy, and an early access game which is too buggy to play is just the developer getting free testing from people who are stubborn or needy enough to hang on in case the bugs get fixed. (They often aren't.)
@@Varksterable Computers are not new anymore, things have changed, and the way we do things now is vastly different from back then. It IS an early access game, and at the time it literally WAS just released. If you’re upset that i didn’t say early access instead of just released, that’s a separate issue you need to talk to your therapist about lol. Here’s one difference between developing games now and back then: *crunch*. The intense, excessive overtime that developers are forced to do in order to meet unrealistic deadlines. For example, the team for Night In the Woods had to practically “sprint” through the process to get the game out in 3 years. Now they have health issues that might not even be resolved since it’s release 5 years later. No or little sleep since you can’t go home, either takeout or starving yourself, and you get to work 80-100 hours of week with your overtime mostly not paid! This is mostly due to deadlines the company has put out OR due to consumers wanting games earlier and earlier. Here’s another point: Older games were NOT completely bug-free, they just had fewer ones. Games were much smaller, and in turn, easier to debug. The original Super Mario Bros from 1985 had about 16,000 lines of code. Minecraft, at its most updated state, has about 500,000. Doom 3 (2004) has 600,000. You cannot compare older games to newer, buggier ones. You’re just a nostalgic person upset that games are doing things differently. Early access isn’t lazy, by the way. YOU are intentionally paying for a game that is not finished because you either want to support the developers, or you want to play the game before release. The developers are actually pretty good on keeping up on bugs while they work to add new features for release. And it’s going to be a free game, with only some cosmetics you can pay for. It’s not just bugs either that they fixed almost immediately, it’s game balancing too. A certain item was difficult to obtain due to its drop rate, so while devs worked to fix it, they gave everyone a decent amount of the item and fixed the issue soon after. I would rather have a buggier game on launch than the developers almost dying to get the game (with hundreds of thousands of lines of code) out with minimal bugs on a deadline set by their company or the public.
Love how giddy you got with the Disney characters, fishing, and farming. Got this game for my birthday. Cannot wait to play and see more. Thanks for the video.
this game looks like so much fun! So glad I seen your video on it first Evelyn! Cant wait to see more of this, its giving Epic Mickey vibes mixed with Stardew Valley
The game looks so good for early access!! I love the little details like your character's head moves everytime a character does a moving animation while talking and Goofy doing his Perfect Cast at the pond. I can't wait to see more ☺️☺️
So I live in Orlando, and I used to work at Disney world (Epcot specifically, selling Disney art) all my tattoos are Disney, all the artwork in my house is Disney… you get the idea. I can see myself sinking a lot of hours into this… also, not me crying at the music whenever I hear it…
A fellow late cast member! I worked in the engineering purchasing department until moving out of state last year, but I'll always want to move back. So much to do in Orlando.
@@limedovahkiin2806 there is! But I don’t have anyone IRL lol. I am going to MNSHP next month 💗 I enjoyed my time working for them… but… I wouldn’t do it again unless they were more forgiving of a chronic illness and medical condition. I’m glad to see other CMs in her fan base 💗💗
Its so good but theres a bug i have where I can't get the Founders pack items out of my malbox which si unfortunate tho the developers knowof this and are fixing it, apparently it doesnt affect everyone but im hoping a patch is made soon as the items in the mailbox are timed but never the less spent hours on this but had to force myself to come off XD it reminds me alot of Disney magical world for the 3ds, do you remember that?
when Gab plays horror: ♥️♥️♥️ when Gab plays cozy games: ♥️♥️♥️♥️🥰 perfect for tuning in while cleaning and doing housework! Also perfect for tiny ears around as well. Thank you for this treat my dear Gab! Really, sincerely appreciate it! Edit: I may also buy this for my little one and I to play together! Thanks again!!!
This looks like so much freaking fun! The style is so cute and I really do LOVE Disney! And the Royal Fox you got looks so much like Todd from 'The Fox and the Hound' that I squealed a little! LOL!
I had no idea Gab was such a Disney fan, I love this so much!! Would love to see more of this game if you keep playing it, Gab, it's so cute and looks just up your alley~
This video was so cuuute!! I'm a huuuge Disney nerd, so I was already a little excited for the game, but your excitement alone makes me want to buy it even more. I hope we get to see extra gameplay from you, even if it's just highlights or something. Thanks so much for showing me how badly I need this game!
Cozy game time! I'm so happy to see you're playing this too! I've been playing all morning, it's so fun! Everything I hoped Animal Crossing would become. 💜 Plus all the nostalgia. 💜
I missed the release of the game by a few hours because I forgot, saw you post this video and instantly went to grab it and play for a while so could go in blind, now it's 2am and I'm back to watch you enjoy the nostalgia as much as I did! Glad you picked this game up Gab! 💜
Tip: Dreamlight Valley is also available now for anyone who has Xbox Gamepass. You get little surprises too if you play now. Also a Pixar event is currently live and you can complete missions and earn free rewards.
Yeah.. I need to see more of this game! I really want gab to make more videos since this is the game I've been eyeing on for a good while! This was a nice and fun video Gab. What a time to be a Disney fan
I love how overly joyful Gab is about this game :) I myself am not a "chill game" player but I've been slowly getting sucked into the chill and cozy vibes of Gab's videos.
I never thought I had OCD.... then I played this game. Took me way longer to get to goofy just because I had to clean up the thorns before going down the stairs haha.
OMG same lmao.... when i got it i couldnt do no quests or anything till they was all gone.... then i wanted to to the mushrooms and logs but had to wait to get rid of them....... but all clear now except when i log in and more have grown.... i growl and say not today thorny lol.... O_O ok i think im nuts
Im DYING for the wonderland squad to join the game, heard there going to put in alice, hatter, chesire and her royal majesty the queen of hearts. I really hope they add roses to this game, I want to make a Victorian rose garden with a mad tea party! I'm also curious if the hatter or chesire and alice remember us like woody and scar and gothel and ariel did.
I’d really love if you could continue this series if the sponsor allows 😭 so cozy and nostalgic, and I can’t play it myself plus it’s more enjoyable to watch you anyways!
Hey gab! Love all your videos I know this is kind of random and a long shot lol and you probably wont see this but I saw just got into the backrooms and played the complex and wanted to suggest you a game called the backrooms 1998. Its a very scary horror game and I think you love it if you liked the complex but this one is more scary! thanks and have a blessed day love all your videos gab ✌
Started playing this 3 days ago and absolutely love it. Just unlocked the dream castle and got to choose which character to save first. Chose Remy because I adore that cute rat so much and Ratatouille's one of my fav movies.
Watching you play this makes me want to get it now too! I wasn’t sure at first but after watching it and hearing the music and seeing the characters it reawakened my childhood!
I hope this is going to turn into a Series because I'M ALL HERE FOR THAT NOSTALGIA TRAIN!! This game is fantastic so far!! I'm so excited for full releaseeeeee!!
My theory is we are the ruler. We build up the world and all that. And when we delete the save, they all forget and go back to the beginning of the game. Such a fun concept! Good job Disney! 👏🏼
Your excitement about this absolutely made my day goobers! Pwretty pls do more of these public (don’t know if you’re playing it in on own time) This game is sooo cute, and I really wanna see you meet wall-e ^^
cannot WAIT for the free to play release of this game! The early access rewards are tempting, but Gab's playthroughs have cost me enough money on cozy games already, i need to hold back somehow 😂
The Forgetting must have had a hold of me. As soon as I saw the Goobers handle, I remembered I had wanted to get some actual Goobers for the video. I still know a couple of places to get them. 😋 Also it would be a sweet joke if Goofy (or Scrooge if he sells his own wares too) had the phrase, "What are ya buyin?" 😊
