Greg Koch is a tour de force! From chicken pickin to Led Zeppelin, this guy can play like nobodies business & he's funny as hell! I bought a DVD with Greg Koch teaching SRV licks, had me learning the guitar licks and cracking up with his shtick! The world is a better place with Greg Koch in it! 👍🇨🇦
Just imagine a Greg Koch and Guthrie Govan duo... both incredibly well spoken and fantastic chops.

They are like exact opposites. Govan is a sophisticated, humble and mega-skilled virtuoso while Koch is a hyperactive, middle-age crisis induced clown. They would not last two consequent gigs..
In one of Guthrie's interviews he says he already shared the stage with Robben Ford and Greg Koch and that it was a "religious experience"... it happened already at least once ;)
I've got the Reverend GK Custom Black model equipped with these pickups. Listen up: If Greg Koch was involved with the development and electronic profile of these pickups, you can bet the farm they are 'correct'. And they are to my ear...Thanks Fishman and Greg.
Students of rock, please note: at 6:46, you can observe the correct face to make whilst aping the "Heartbreaker" solo's behind-the-nut bends. Textbook example. Form those good habits early, kids, and they'll stay with you for a lifetime...
I’ve had these pups for like 4 years I still come back to watch him blow my mind playing. But also these pups are insanely good. I only wish it was USB-C to charge instead of micro USB.
A triumph Gregory, I have witnessed many of your semi-commercial playing events and demonstrations, but this one has the Gorman seal of approval, and I'm sure you are relieved at that...keep rocking chap
I've had them in a Fender FSR [reverse control plate Bill Kirchen style] for a year now. They are awesome. I go about 6 weeks, playing daily, before charging the battery. Only 1 time in the last year did I see the red indicator light come on to notify me there was only 5hrs. left on battery. IMO, the tone is much more balanced and the articulation is far superior to the stock pickups. For me, it was the best thing I could do to an inexpensive guitar as it replaced most of the "cheap" components. FYI, play with the pickup height. Like Lace Sensors, I've found you can bring these much closer to the strings than standard single coils.
Greg Koch, you are an entertainer. I could spend hours listening to you explaining whatever, you are the best. You want me to buy these pickups, ook, Greg, let's goo!
Hey, can we get a Thumbs UP for all those that think.....Greg should have his own channel on net flicks!........................Love it, Love it.......You make our day Supergeek!
'Sconie thru and thru and I remember seeing him 30 year s ago in a bar when he had hair and there were 3 people in the bar not including the band.....love how he displays his Zep influences without pause
I just bought a used Fret King Country Squire Tele that has these pickups standard in them. Alnico V in the neck and Alnico IV in the bridge. Just tried out the guitar for the first time today and getting used to these. They are loud and breakup easily in my Spark amp. The push/push button is interesting for a little added boost. Will continue to try these out for tone/versatility. Volume knob cleans up the tone in a major way!
Seriously thinking about these Pricey by worth t methinks Pedal engaged it sounded a bit muddy but most pedals are like that Not sure what the pedal was but I'm sure it's the reason for his signature Koch amp No pedals needed
I have a question. Is it possible to “hot rod” these pickups for a 4th tone like a lot people do with traditional tele pickups? Greg is the master and these sound tits-
