Thanks for showing how it sounds with a mic...almost everybody only shows what the guitar sounds like...but if you're a solo singer/guitarist it kinda helps to know how the guitar AND mic sound thru the amp...cheers...
As a singer/songwriter This is a crucial tool. I just bought the loud box mini on April 9th of this year (2022) and I’m playing my old Gibson J50 with LR Baggs anthem through this amp and also using my Sennheiser e835 mic for vocals. What a beautiful little amp/PA set up this one is! Thanks for this demo video. Great original song you sampled, thanks for that!🎶
I just found your channel, thank you for an excellent review! It was especially nice to hear the vocals and the guitar simultaneously through the amp, other reviewers seem to forget that there are two channels on the Fishman. Your original tune is hauntingly lovely.
@@tonyharrell6465 I have been scouring the net for a demo like yours, showing both guitar and vocals. You have helped me seal the deal. I am definitely going for the FLM! Thank you so much! Oh, and I know what you mean by your heart saying SING! It is well nigh impossible for me to pick up my guitar and not sing. It feels like there is some wild soaring creature pounding on the cage of my ribs, demanding to be set free…
Great work Tony, as a drummer that sings and plays you will know what's going to work in a band situation. As our hair grows long and the colour turns grey writing a song just put me at peace. We lost our drummer to suicide I have never gotten. over it once you started playing and singing Mick's presence was felt. And it's totally cool with the Z t-shirt. tears are flowing but with joy not sadness.
Thanks, I really appreciate this review Tony! I have this fishman loud box mini amp and will try my mic and acoustic guitar with it after seeing you do it 👍🎵🎶
Thanks for the down to earth and very good reveiw 👍. One of the best i have found on this amp. I am currently in the market, and i do believe you helped me make my decision :-)
Great video! I own one as well. I play my Guild thru it and love it. I use it as a monitor with a little trio I have with two singers (wife and former lead vocalist from my old band). The only effects I use with acoustics is reverb and chorus, and this little amp sounds awesome.
Thanks very much for this video. Ive been after a busking amp for a while and saw this one in a local music shop and thought that looks interesting . Thank you for demonstrating the mic channel aswell as the guitar. Im convinced that this is a very nice amp and will probably purchase one in the next few days. i enjoyed the song and your singing too. Keep going with it. All the best .John
Thanks for the demo Tony. I am thinking about which Fishman to get. Toting it around is a big issue for me as I am quite old. I loved the honesty in your song and I hope it works out for you. You are a good person. Cheers. Robin
Great video. In my humble opinion, when speaking, i would turn down the reverb, then add it back when singing. It's rather annoying when you're just speaking. But that could just be me. Otherwise it's a nice review. I have a Fishman and a Seagull guitar and love it.
Hey Steven The song is called Through the Fall and there are two versions on this youtube channel. I just got out of the studio rerecording it with some session players. Mixing it tomorrow and postimg on youtube in the next day or so. Hope you enjoy the studio version. Tony
How did you have the EQ settings set on the Taylor and on the Fishman? First time I plugged my Taylor 324ce into an amp it sounded metallic / harsh. I'm new at the electro / acoustic thing, so I don't really know what to have expected.
You should be able to make the guitar sound acoustic but louder. I wouldn’t mess with chorus right now. Maybe a tad of reverb to suit your taste though. You’ll eventually find a good sound. This is one of the best acoustic amps on the market right now
I would give it a solid 8. I use it on solo gigs for acoustic guitar and vocals. The vocals sound close to a PA but in such a small package! Love it and 3 of my friends have bought one also after hearing mine at a gig
Hey man. I did a video using the gretsch with the fishman. It was about one year ago and on my channel if you wanna check it out. The combo sounds great!
Hola...te escribo desde México...vi tu vídeo y te felicito...quiero comprar el loudbox mini...y mi pregunta es: lo puedo tocar con mi bajo electrico❓ Gracias por tu atención.
Thanks for the review.. I have same fishman loud mini and I connect to audio technica AT2020 but there is no sound. Your microphone just working find but why my AT2020 does not work. Do you have any idea? Thanks.
AT2020 is a condenser microphone, requires phantom power. You’ll need some sort of external power for the mic, or get a dynamic microphone like the shure sm58
Can two acoustic guitars be plugged into the Loudbox at the same time and also use a microphone on top of that? I want to play guitar with a friend of mine and also to sing with a microphone and it would be handy if this thing could take care of all three things.
Who in their right mind would put T&G up like that with the boards not aligning in the corner? Also, sorry but I can read the specs myself. 2 and a half minutes in we finally hear it. Rock on.
This dude is obviously passionate about his new amp. Maybe try being passionate about something other than putting down random people on RU-vid. Btw the horse picture is baller, Tony. 🤘🏼
