Here’s my review of the 60mm rotary cutter with a looped handle from Fiskars. I hope you’ll like it! The Fiskars 60mm cutter (affiliate): amzn.to/3U9ZiDc #fiskars #rotarycutter #toolreview
Interesting: my fiskars has no circular, scissor-type handle - it’s one straight piece. Also, there’s no razor-guard whatsoever. You shouldn’t complain: my cutter only gets a 3/8” cut! My advice: turn the object over and go after the other side. I think someone from Fiskars was checking you out, Hero, because they actually did make the handle (remember, no guard except the sliding blade guard) from some pretty durable material (can they mix fiberglass with plastic 😂🤦🏼♀️.) The blade is actually incredibly durable: I use it exclusively for cutting wired ribbon, for making bows, especially the big ones you use on wreaths, or cars, or huge presents 🎁. There’s at least 2 wires running all the way down through the entire length of the ribbon. Each cut with the fiskars cuts god-only-knows-what kind of material that ribbon is made of, and at least 2 wires - sometimes many wires. Yes the wires are how we can shape and fluff the ribbon, over and over, and still make it look awesome. So my blade has some nicks: it cuts fine as frog hair, and only what I want it to. It also came with 2 huge, self-healing (I know - I didn’t believe it either, but I was wrong) cutting mats, for maybe $15 at wallyworld last year. Check it out - you might want to update and pass on the older one. ❤thanks for being a fixit Hero - I really mean it!!!
