Fistful of Meth, a traditional American trucker song performed by Jonward C. Nash if you are seeing shadow people, you might be on meth: • Seeing Shadow People O... get the best microphone for your voice: lostlibraryofc...
Lol. Awesome. I come from a long line of truckers. I even went out on a few runs in the 80s. Back then, you had two log books. One to show the DOT and one that actually had your real miles on it. I know truckers that have taken meth and speed and anything they could find to stay awake and run for days on end. This song might be funny, but it's got some truth to it.
I was a otr driver for 38 yrs and I've run 3&4 log books almost every week. In the 70&80s they took speed mostly RJS, Black beauties, and more. Trucking back then was a whole different world than it is today sadly. Driver's stuck together and looked out for each other.
I come from a long line of meth heads. My father, his father, and his father and his father also and then that guys mother.great great grandad and great great great grandma. Furthest I've researched maybe even goes back further..
This song should not want you to become a trucker. There are so many rules and regulations you have to follow. This song is a disgrace to all of us truckers.
Nope they don’t, there was a time where truckers took pink crosses, cross tops or Benzedrine pills. Those were amphetamines but they were not the Chrystal meth that has idiots searching for agates along the freeway at 2am. You won’t last long as a junky in a job that routinely piss tests you.
Ahhh nothing better than hearing those CB ads for trucker’s choice the magic crystal that gets those loads in on time available at your nearest pilot truck stop
..yep.. started in '86.. was no "CDL" then.. just class A, or B.. Some states called it a "Chauffer's" lisence.. Maryland did'nt.. But we did'nt mess with the toothpicks, or even Meth back then.. We would hit a ramp every 200 miles, & do 2 fat lines of coke..😂
HaHa!! That's the first time I've heard that one! I remember when that shit came around where I grew up in 1979! The new truck drivers speed! We jumped on it like stink on shit!! Bad mistake!! HaHa!!
Lmao it fucking sure does this song cracks me up my dad lived most of his younger days doing exactly this back in the 80s he didn't slow down untill he hit 50
Funny as fuck. Having a cup of coffee and a little cannibus this morning and I have to say I'm having a great day and will after hearing that song. Yall be safe out there and if you catch wind of Uncle Terry's Turbo Crystal's in your area just watch and laugh.
This song was in the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" during the hitchhiker scene, but because of the rights dispute it was later replaced with "Fool for a Blonde" by Roger Bartlett & Friends for the official VHS, DVD and BLU-RAY releases
Generations of wisdom passed down from meth head to meth head. A good father should always pass the pipe down to the oldest son, we need to keep this miracle of meth going. We have to pass on the meth knowledge, to the younger generations. Its gift from god.
been there, done that, doing it again tomorrow! lol he forgot proplus, 2 litre of red bull, 4 litre of coffee and dashboard of mars bars and mcdonalds wrappers lol
[sigh] I miss my dad. Haven't seen him since he stopped by home with a couple lot lizards and beat Mom while screaming about his blue ice. He paid them to babysit me. I was nine, and I discovered what "fried eggs nailed to a wall" meant before I'd ever heard the phrase. And that was the guy. The woman just chain-smoked and occasionally coughed like a lung was coming up. Anyway, they piled into his truck after he tried digging a hole in the cement garage floor because of a treasure map I drew in crayon when I was four. He broke two shovels. I miss my dad.
My friends dad did the same thing in his basement, searching for his neighbors supposed sex dungeon complex. Why is it always electronics and cement floors!?
Back then you could get a Rx from your Dr. Claim you needed diet pills or even just tell him "I need something to keep me up while driving at night". Soon you would have to go to multiple docs to get enough.
I'm about half way through spotify setup. there's some hoops to jump through, it's not as straightforward as other platforms. Sit tight and stay tuned, I will announce the spotify account in a community post.
I miss the old days when truckers got their amphetamines in pill form. Still a good song. Sounds like a modern version of the Commander Cody classic "I took 3 Bennies and my semi truck wont start." A heart breaking rale for the ages.

Reminds me of a childhood friends truck driving dad back in the 70's. He'd say, "the only thing I like cold is crank", never knew what that meant in the 3rd grade.
I used to smoke meth and watch porn for three days straight. Can't do it anymore. Now I get terrible psychosis and consider being homeless because the neighbors can read my thoughts.
Its said Jonward C Nash was an inspiration to Johnny Cash. But Jonward C Nash and Johnny Cash ended their friendship after a fight outside of Wafflehouse in 1969. After Jonward C Cash realized his album "I Only Sucked A Dick For An Once" he never released an album again. He just disappeared of the face of the Earth. They did an Unsolved Mysteries episode about Mr. Nash but they never aired due to Robert Stack crying the entire time. Apparently Stack was a huge fan
Thank you for this deep lore, I will add this information to the song's webpage: lostlibraryofcongress.com/explore-the-collection/country-bluegrass/fistful-of-meth/
