This gives me "Tower Of Pain" vibes, which I am absolutely here for. I don't really like deathcore, but when bands like Fit For A King or Currents tap into it, I freaking love it.
I did enjoy Keeping Secrets. But honestly after this I want a more deathcore FFAK album now. Like this mixed with Tower of Pain, Reaper, and Eyes Roll Back. Would be a sick album.
my favorite one is death grip, it was the 1st one i hear from them and instantly hook me. Like you said, they went pretty melodic lately so with this they going back to their sound is amazing
I love FFAK because they can do melodic and heavier metalcore pretty well. And I love conceptual albums, so if they do something like that, I'm sure I'm gonna love it. As for my favorite song, I can't just pick up one dude, the last three albums alone have a lot of my favorites. As of now my favorites are Engraved Oblivion Backbreaker Deathgrip Prophet Sink Below What You Left Behind
I absolutely loved this, and the video played a big part. The choreography with the big hits and breakdowns just elevated it. And I 100% with the Hellblade link, great video
Hmm not sure how I feel about it yet, it's a good track but I have a bunch of songs in my playlist that sound exactly like this so I don't see myself coming back to it much until the album drops.
don't forget about Fit For An Autopsy's new single hostage from the/there upcoming album the nothing that is one of my favorite Fit For A King songs is god of fire the one they did with Ryo Kinoshita of Crystal Lake
it's fine! it sounds a lot like silent planet imo. not necessarily a bad thing, but the track didn't really stand out to me. no real hook or interesting passages.
I feel like this song is, in its own way, just as cookie-cutter as the latest Wage War or A Day To Remember. I don't find it memorable in any way. It's the okayest song ever, the nth entry in the "heavy for heavy's sake with no more depth to it" category.
