This new singer is much better than the one before. These choruses are much much more powerful than they ever were with the old singers. Huge improvement and I'm left wanting more! It's a good feeling to have in a genre of so much unoriginality.
Brandon Watson Jared Easterling, their drummer, was the clean vocalist on Descendants (which was their first album before singing with Solid State Records, then was later re-recorded and re-released). Aaron Kadura, their last bassist who is no longer in the band, was the clean vocalist on Creation|Destruction (which was their first full-length released off of Solid State Records). -Jack from RMK
I saw them live summer '13, the drummer, guitarist, and vocalist each sang the cleans for different songs, I was impressed that so many of the band members could do that! No idea about the studio recordings though.
I will always love Fit For a King. They got me into metalcore, and helped me keep my sanity in middle and high school, because I was battling severe deprression issues. I'm a senior now, and still listening. FFAK fan for life! Also, I love this song so much. It often leaves me in tears. Such a beautiful and compelling song.
What has it been like making member changes and having so much happening outside of the band(Bob's wedding and kid, Ryan's wedding) all while dealing with the stress of making a new record?
I love them so much i just started listening to day im going to keep all of their songs on shuffle. But so far the song that touched me the most was forever unbroken

Loving the new cleans. Its got that gritty, emotional sound to it. Maybe not as heavy as their earlier stuff, but still sounds incredible. So stoked for this.
This song is absolutely incredible, everything about breathes life back into music that i have missed. So many favorite bands of mine are breaking up and going mainstream and it saddens me. But then i discovered fit for a king and got the oppurtunity to see them live at warped tour in milwaukee this past summer and out of every band i saw im talking chelsea grin, falling in reverse, attila, issues, volumes, the ghost inside who all had main stages and i respect them all greatly and listen to them everyday as well but fit for a king was amazing, to getting the crowd bigger and bigger with each song, their sound from the stage projected to the audience was amazing, the best all day, and just really so genuine in the way in thanked everyone for singing his words and how crazy this all was for them, just made me a dedicated fan from that day on. Much love guys.
i feel like creation destruction was the prime of fit for a king. that was without a doubt the best music i've heard in my life. ryan's voice went PERFECT with the instrumental and the other guy's singing was well written, sounded AMAZING, and topped off the songs and gave them meaning. still gives me chills after all this time. i still dig the new stuff but nothing will beat creation destruction. if anyone in fit for a king is reading this, that sound you had is why you blew up. get back to that shit you have plenty of time to experiment
OMG! I thought they came to their top with Creation/Destruction but if this song represents the whole coming album, they will amaze me for sure!! Bless up.

This song is amazing!! Definitely hear some hints of Creation : Destruction, but loving the new sounds! Can't wait for my pre-order to get in. This album is going to be so awesome!
WTF? When I heard the beginning I instantly tabbed out to check I was listening to the same band. DAMN they sound so different. I'm not saying they sound terrible. They sound good still. But it didn't really sound like FFaK. Still enjoying though.

Okay okay I just found this band last night so I apologize if I ask a stupid question(s).... First one being; What is this technically classified as? Hard rock? metal? o-o doesnt matter. its delicious. And on that topic....What songs should I check now :D
It's a good song, but the way the music is mixed makes it sound softer than it should. for one the drums have no punch like in creation destruction.. There seems to be a lack in the bass area too. But regardless of sound quality, still a very good song.
I usually love breakdowns but I honestly wish this band would ditch them. Their choruses and verses are super good but their breakdowns are lackluster. Regardless, I'll pick up this album at some point.
I half agree with you, the rest of the song is structured so strongly that the banal breakdown kind of ruins the flow of it. But, I wouldn't want them to ditch them, just make it better and incorporate their idiosyncratic style to it, you know? But, the album isn't out yet, so we can only hope! Needless to say, I'm excited to hear more~
I agree these breakdowns have nothing to do with the ones from creation/destruction which was exactly why I loved this band... Now even if the cleans and riffs are more powerful I'm having a hard time liking this album as much as the previous ones
I preferred aaron's vocals over this guy, but he's a great replacement. Good melodies but just doesnt have that tone aaron had. Either way it should be a good album
