Fitting a 1 1/4hp Air-cooled Spindle to the 6050 Plus is NOT so simple. 

Thanks for this, pretty important to have that earth if something goes wrong. Had a look at that shiny Sainsmart one thats around 159 and it does have an earth on the power connector. Also it uses er11 collets so should have more compatibility .

That’s a disappointing find with no earth.
