This mod is 👌👌👌. The Mk6 Fiesta and Ford Figo Mk1 are very similar and usually share some parts. Does anybody know whether a strut brace that fits in a the Mk6 Fiesta will fit in a Mk1 Figo?
So what made you decide to change your strut brace? Apart from the carbon fibre looking cool (I love a bit of carbon fibre). Was there something wrong with your other one or just fancied something different? 😊
I sold the other one ages ago and the main reason was it made the car way more annoying to work on and it rubbed against the bonnet hence why I put raisers on so I ended up getting rid of the lot and this one come up out of the blue and I had to have it
@@6uiltdifferent appreciate the fast response, the airbox might be poor but I do like the appearance of it. I know it needs to go eventually but I'll be keeping it incase of resale. It does seem to keep the engine bay nice and clean though?
@@6uiltdifferent I'm also trying to work out what I want induction wise as I'll be eventually getting a fusion fabrications inlet, larger throttle body and then an induction kit. The problem is I can't use a mountune cais with all of those parts but I don't want a short ram air filter as they suck hot air from the engine. Do you know of any cais which may allow this selection of shit to be put together?
@@someone8476 no problem and it reveals a bit more when removed yes then you have to start messing with things to tidy it up as you can probably tell with my car lol I’d just try and fit it and if it doesn’t fit then opt for a ram air setup then if you resale you can put the car back to standard and sell the ram air and strut brace separately etc
@someone8476 I wouldn’t worry about hot air as the exhaust is at the back and there’s a lot of cold air flow points on these cars I just mounted my k&n directly on the throttle body as there’s a cold air feed in the slam panel going directly to it
