I'm always impressed with these types of systems like pull -out larders, magic corners, LeMans corner units. Especially from Blum, Kassebohme, Hafele, etc. They just work. Good video.
What a brilliant system! For what is often unused or poorly used space! Type of job id have sweated over knowing it was coming up, ends up being 15 minutes on the first one and progressively faster every time 😂 F you anxiety and lack of confidence! 😜😂😂
I know what you mean bud, and we can sometimes be our own worst enemy in building things up to be worse in our heads than they actually are🤯Thanks for your comment😎Cheers Del
Top job as ever, looks a good system, ideal for someone like me with rediculously long legs so getting anything out of base cabinets involves sitting on the floor 👍
These are superior to the kidney type ones Bradley, but anything is better than just leaving the unit with just a shelf in it👊Thanks for watching😎Cheers Del
Never seen one of them. It was always, and still is out here, the dead corner you put stuff you don't use often. They may be down the slightly more advanced end of Australia in Melbourne or Sydney. But Queensland. Maybe ten to twenty years time. It is a bit of a time warp. Over the last 24 years all sorts of things have appeared that were common place in the UK before I left. Or I watch on videos like yours and then many years later you see. Amazing new product. Knowing full well everyone else has moved on.
I’ve only got my dad’s old imperial adjustable spanner and of course it doesn’t get used much these days so I must get one of these new metric ones 😉 🔧
Nice, Del. No outrageous price wise. I look at another German brand quoted £1800, I did ask if it fitted itself. 32kg weight capacity too. I have a kitchen where the doors fit in the face frame, it would not give the opening required, standard kitchen good option 👍🏻
If you really want to fit one you can potentially cut the frame out and attach it to the door thus creating a false frame and giving the clearance. Thin ply / mdf / etc on the back and within the opening of the cabinet or possibly, if the frame comes apart, dowels in the edge.
@@richardjames3121 nice idea but still would not give enough clearance as he doors have handles on them which would also limit opening. Corner units are generally a compromise, I don’t think this one will work for me. This is a replacement of worn unit rather than new.
Hi Paul🖐 Hafele do amazing kits too, and I think it all comes down to how quick/simple they are to install, and the VS stuff really is nice and easy to fit👊Cheers Del
Lovely clear video, but I think it demonstrated that its an over engineered idea that actually does not give much of the lost space back to the user. The device does not go to the far end of the unit, and the area it does extend to, is lost by the mechanics of the centre post and frame. Its a shame that it cant fulfill its task.
@@thetallcarpenter They won't. There you can make a pantry to store dishes for the "new year", or hide schnapps from your spouse)) . The meaning of my message is that there is always so little useful space in these beautiful and fashionable accessories that they cease to make sense when making simple boxes of maximum size.
