I reluctantly put a screen on the Griso for a big trip I did in 2022. Thought I would take it off when I got home . But never did. It was pretty good at keeping the wind off my chest.
Good vid! Oh the lens, sooooo infuriating when these things happen!!!!! Ask me how I know!!! Screen looks OK, as Mr Danimal said, I'd probably paint the bracket bolt heads to try and lose the visual impact a bit?? OC - For street only use I'd go without, but for track and street I'd install and leave it on. Function over form and one gets used to the look as it's not bad (unlike some). Oh, and your wordiness is goodly, not overly complexive and underly redundantive, innit like..... Cheers, Andy.
Thank amigo :) Yeah I was very angry at myself, but such is life, it could have been worse! Yeah if I ever get the urge to I'll paint them, I hate painting, sanding and bodywork tho, let me take apart an engine any day :D I see you've seen the next video and yes, very happy with how it worked out on the street too so any minor ugliness is forgiven :D Hahahaha whoa that's some good wordage there amigo. Too advanced for me.
I'd paint the bolts on the side brackets personally, reduces the "noticeability". I think the screen for the track is smart. Doesn't hurt the looks. You can always take it off when you want to be stunning and show off.
That's a good idea. I'll try that. Track and faster bits of the street. On the highway it's a workout without one. Oh you know how lazy I am it'll likely live there forever now 😂
Like you I am not a fan of screens added to naked bikes. The big test will be in the ride. For the track if it works it will make life easier. Brackets on any after market product are often a problem. Function wins over form and style. So sorry about the lens. I look forward to the test. Thanks. 👍
They almost never fit right visually, the cafe screen is an option but top shallow so wouldn't really block anything. Yep, Im a function man and always will be. Thanks. These things happen, just never nice when they do. Thanks!
I don't love it, visually I think it seems too upright. But that's what you'd want for the functionality of it, I suppose. If it works well on track, go with it.
Me neither. It's fine ....and the uprightness is why I picked it. On track I should be able to tuck pretty well behind it. So we shall see, I'll keep ye all updated anyway 😂
Sorry about your lens .But your English has improved JIS instead of Phillips , sorry I had to have a dig . Tomorrow's is a new day. Down to earth video .
