Great video. How do you finish off the rear of the cowl. As in, does it end b4 the end of bonnet and the inside.

I assume you are referring to where the back of the scoop meets the bonnet, that can just be blended in as well

How do you paint the bonnet under the scoop?

Hi John, You can paint it with a brush or you can use a mini touch up gun. Or you can paint it before the scoop goes on. Ben

Do the reverse cowl bonnets you guys do come ready too be painted?

Hi, The steel ones come in a primer ready to prep and paint, the fibreglass ones come in a raw black matt gelcoat finish ready to prep and paint

What glue should I use if my bonnet is already fibre glass ?

we just use a generic fibreglass glue called superbond we get from our fibreglass supplier, but an epoxy or the crestabond would be better, we glass over the join as well on fibreglass bonnets so thats why we are happy to use the cheaper product.

@@TheFibreglassFactory thanks mate !! When laying fibre glass do you let each layer dry before laying other strip or can you build up layers wet ?
