Installed a flat solid bottom grapple on our old Kubota and tried it out. Used tractor grapple, chainsaw, Foley Belsaw M-14 circle sawmill. Triple T Ranch & Sawmill on Choctaw Ridge is homesteading with a sawmill & anvil.
If you are going to get into hydraulics start looking at surplus center. 1/2 × 240 inch hoses are $65 each plus likely about $20 for shipping on your entire order. Fittings are usually a couple bucks each.
