Great video, I've just fitted my first velux with marley ludlow plus tiles, one thing i think would help people would be to explain that the cut tiles around the sides kick up due to sitting on the flashing valley, i ended up having to cut slots with angle grinder in the tile nibs for them to lay flay... if i wasn't so ugly, I'd probably do a video myself lol.. Keep up the good work..
Loving these videos, not sure how I found the channel but I am now binge watching all videos on the loft conversion before watching all your others. Nice to have honest, real content with no over the top editing or scripting, really shows what is required for these works. Also very useful as we have an extension starting next year so nice to see what sort of things will need to be done by our builder. Keep up the great work and superb videos! 😃
Haha! Maybe the channel found you!!! It's great to hear that you're enjoying the videos. When we started this one of the intentions was to help builders customers realise just what goes into a project and that it doesn't always go to plan no matter how hard you try, so it's great that you're getting that element from it. Take care and good luck with your project.
Battling with new velux. Lots of leaks. Builders installed a flashing kit EDW SK10 2000 (red line) with a blue line GGL SK10 3070. Is this a mismatch given the different colours? Would be so grateful for any advice.
