Thanks for watching Adrian and for your kind remarks. It's not really complicated. I think most of us DIYers underestimate how long a job will take and then those around us start growing impatient! ATB b33zo
Thanks Mo. Changing a WC and cistern is made more difficult by the variations in manufacturers shapes sizes. Flexible inlet pipes are helpful but he drill holes rarely seem line up. Cheers b33zo
Thanks for watching RR. Most of these jobs a fairly uncomplicated when it comes to it. More a case of not letting the doubts get the better of you. Cheers b33zo
Hi, very helpful video demonstration. I just wonder, do I have use any lubricant on the flexi pipe connecting soil pipe and the basin? Thanks again for sharing a very useful and user friendly video.
Thanks for watching SS. I believe the rubber seals create a watertight joint and no lubricants, silicone etc should be used. The fittings all come with instructions in the box. Good luck with your project. b33zo
Thanks for watching. The fixing kits available from Screwfix etc are more than adequate if you're putting the pan down onto a flat surface. Silicone added to the base of the pan before screwing it down adds to the overall stability. ATB b33zo
Thanks for watching Henry. In my DIY experience some times re-adjusting the MultiQuik by pushing and pulling it about will stop a small leak. It might not have been fitted correctly in the first place because they're usually very reliable. If that is the case fitting a new one is a nice little Saturday morning job. b33zo
