As a kitchen fitter myself I have really enjoyed watching how you take pride in your work and explain what you are doing in such a clear and informative way. It’s always great to see someone else work as you can pick up some new ideas occasionally that can improve the way you work.

Great video to watch. As a kitchen fitter I always like watching how other people do it. The only thing I do differently is have a 12mm square block that I put on top of the corner of the cabinets and then set my laser to that once I’ve done my layout. Then you can get your laser line to the front and the back of the cabinets and you don’t have to pull your stabila out

Also. How nice is it to work on a pump screed floor!! Haha

Hi James thanks for taking the time to comment on our channel and glad you enjoyed it. I am still very dubious with lasers even though they are a great tool to have in your arsenal but I’m still drawn towards getting my levels out. I’ve gotten so used to doing with without a laser it’s a hard habit to get out of. I’ve got another couple of parts coming out so keep an eye out for those and maybe you’ll be able to give me some more good tips 👍🏻

Yes it’s excellent working off pump screed next to no further adjustment on the legs once they are set and better on the knees as well 👍🏻

Hi and thanks for taking the time to comment on our channel. Yes they are a good solid unit with 18mm backs on them as well. I haven’t seen those dolly’s but I’ll definitely have a look now though. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. 👍🏻

Can’t blame you about fixing to the board mate I wouldn’t trust it on heavy wall units 🤦‍♂️👍

Hi Mark thanks for taking the time to comment on our channel. The Habito board has been a bit of a let down to us but it’s got its uses I suppose. 👍🏻

I have brackets that I need to fix to a brick wall for upper cupboards. What if I hit mortar? Which fixings would you use for mortar. I can't move brackets in this case.

Hi AK and thanks for commenting on our channel. If you have solid walls this is the best scenario you could wish for. In this case I would use a good quality brown rawl plug and minimum of a 50 x 5 or 2” x 10 screw in old money I increase to a 2 1/2” x 10 screw if the brick is no good. Hope this helps. 👍🏻

I have been fitting granite quarts Corian Minerva oak well you name it for well over 20 years now and I would definitely be able to throw worktops on any kitchen you have fitted from across the street . all stone has a tolerance of 2/5 mm on thickness from slab run off so no matter how level a kitchen has been fitted you can still have joint issues but by no means is this the kitchen fitters fault and is easily sorted with some packers great work mate

Thanks Andy and I presume I can take that as a compliment that your happy with my base unit install and not that you could sort my kitchen fitting issues out 😂😂👍🏻
