i have recently fitted a rear tailgate opener every thing works except it will not open or close off the fob in your video you say in europe to connect the yellow cable to the grey cable mine connects to the purple cable could this cause my problem
Hi I installed this in my Toyota CHR, it works fine but whilst I am driving the tailgate suddenly starts beeping and it opens to quarter position, then i have to turn off by pressing switch. Any advise would be most helpful.
Hello Sir, I have just installed this on my CHR. But it won’t close 😢 I press the button and the lid goes around halfway down then stops and goes back up again!! Any ideas what could be wrong!!!

There are two wires on dashboard button a small red one and a small black one, where are these surpposed to go ?? Think they are lightning the switch, Any ideas
Oggi l'ho mantato anche io, Funziona benissimo senza perdere nessuna funzionalità del telecomando o dei tasti esistenti. Certo l'installazione richiede un po di manualità e di intuito perchè le spiegazioni sono sommarie, ma tutto fattibile io ci ho messo 3 ore ed i fili li ho fatti passare sotto la copertura in plastica anzichè dentro le lamiere. Ma tutto è partito al primo colpo, p.s. al costo è probabile che si debba aggiungere 50 uero di spese di dogana coma capitato a me, nonostante fosse stato dichiarato in fattura un valore di 99$ ci hanno messo 35 euro di tasse e 13 di oneri amministartivi..... ciappes un colp....
It is very difficult to take it back. The only option I could see is to have some sort of sticky substance like glue or tar on a flexible wire puller or so and using this try to stick the clip onto it
HI I just got mine 2022 model, is it possible to close it manually if by mistake i bring it to service center and they close it that way btw im in UAE and they release only 2 option of CHR, and any idea if it will affect my waranty?
shakya bandara Sorry for the late reply. Manual closing is not supported once this is fitted. Foot sensor as well is available from the manufacturers of this product, but will support only of your car is key less entry
Suggest you take out the inner plastic trims and try to see if any clips broken. After everything removed just peep through the holes and try shaking the spoiler to see which part is actually loose.

Really don't understand why this car doesn't already come with this. Kinda annoying to have to get out to open the trunk. Every car I owned has a button to open

Thanks mate! i managed to do it as well, and i made sure i bypassed the airbags in the A pillar by looping around it so as not to block the airbags and interrupt it should it deploy. I am sure though that your videos will help a lot of C-HR owners like myself. i was able to install the back/rear camera following your video when you installed the automatic tailgates (ie, learned where to route the wires). so, all the best!
