Hi I installed this in my Toyota CHR, it works fine but whilst I am driving the tailgate suddenly starts beeping and it opens to quarter position, then i have to turn off by pressing switch. Any advise would be most helpful.
i have recently fitted a rear tailgate opener every thing works except it will not open or close off the fob in your video you say in europe to connect the yellow cable to the grey cable mine connects to the purple cable could this cause my problem
When you show how to open the cover of the map lights, it’s either too fast or there is a trick on how to do it because the screw driver seems didn’t touch the cover yet the cover already open.
This video applies to the earlier models. In the 2023 the whole light fitting is removed from the roof, held by 3 plastic clips and locked in at the rear with a hook. Pull down from the front to disengage the clips, unplug the one connecting electrical and slide forward to disengage the lock hook. The bulbs are replaced from the top of the light fitting.

Desde que compré el chr, al circular por calles que no estan realmente lisas, me incomoda oir un ruido en la parte trasera derecha del maletero como si algo golpease en plastico o chapa. Mi intención sería desmontar los paneles del interior del maletero pero ni idea de por donde empezar. ¿Me ayudas? Muchas gracias.
Is it possible to remove USB port out without pulling out cable wiring from behind radio? I would just like the original port to stay hidden inside car, while using the new one.
Hello Sir, I have just installed this on my CHR. But it won’t close 😢 I press the button and the lid goes around halfway down then stops and goes back up again!! Any ideas what could be wrong!!!
Hi There, I’ve managed to sort the issue (a wire had come loose) all working good. Thanks for the video it helped lots. Have you you thought about putting in a heated steering wheel (like the newer models)?
My God , so much pointless work, without any benefit and reason !!! To disassemble so many elements from the car, just to mount some "useless lights", without any importance and use.... Sorry, but it seems very stupid to me!!! If you play with the electrical wires of a hybrid car , your car might catch fire if you don't know how to make the electrical connections professionally. Put in your mind that : this is not something to play with.
HI I just got mine 2022 model, is it possible to close it manually if by mistake i bring it to service center and they close it that way btw im in UAE and they release only 2 option of CHR, and any idea if it will affect my waranty?
I’m trying to replace my interior lights on the front dome but after taking the old bulbs out the new ones won’t sit in the wedge part properly have you got a picture of how the metal holders should look so the bulbs for properly ? Thanks in advance
