One of the first comments my 6 year old granddaughter said when she first saw my railway was”Who’s driving the train?” I’ve been looking for suitable crewmen ever since. Now I know I can paint up some of the passengers I got on EBay to go in. Thanks Charlie. Inspirational as always. Roy.

An amusing video this week with men on the end of crocodile clips. I fitted a cube speaker in the tank space underneath having drilled a hole through the metal body for the speakers. Found it a challenge getting the motor back in place. As always an enjoyable video look forward to next week.

A suggestion for removing the bodies I use a guitar plectrum on all the lug points. I find that you need to ease all lugs before the body will come off sometimes and using the plectrum makes it so easy, because the plectrum is thin it does not distort the body of the loco. Also they don’t fall out as you try to remove the body and the plectrum is stiff without fear of body damage
