Nice modification, did you go back to R&G and find out what was wrong, like others have said it looked like a thin plastic protective covering to me, but if you couldn't find any edges then weird..
I contacted R&G and they said they had a few of them like it, asked me to go back to the seller for an exchange with an email from them stating they would exchange it.
Not sure but there may be a thin plastic wrap / film over the part to protect it for shipping. It should peel off if it's just protective film. Is there an edge that peels back? Otherwise I would contact them about getting a replacement. Nice solution. Cheers! Mike
+Michael Rench Yeah I thought that too, but there is definitely not a film over the top, if you push the paintwork from the other side it moves so it is definitely the paint cover from the underside. I will send them an email with a link to the video now.
Yeah went straight through the MOT, I have baffles for it which can be put back in and will quieten it down a bit, but I like them nice and loud, means cars can hear me coming and I stand a better chance of them looking for me!!
Yes! It is a company called 'Blue Flame' and they design it that way by heating the metal- I love the way it look, and of course, the way it sounds! Matches the blue of my bike beautifully!
