Great video with positive views towards the real Mustangs but still appreciating what the mach e offers. Liking the positivity no need to focus on the negatives, happy days👍
When you first said the Mustang needed to go to the Garage the first thing I thought was "Not Again!!!" But then I thought ..you wouldn't dare tell us if you had :-)
Software update probably reset the ev history so you got artificial higher range. I've never bothered checking the range after I've done software updates on Mach e. And I've done plenty of updates🥱
I REALLY enjoy your EV content! I quite like your Mustang Mech E; it’s PERFECT for the short distances here on O’ahu. Honestly…as a old, coffin-dodging bicyclist…I can do WITHOUT the over-loud exhausts that modern ICE Mustang “enthusiasts” put in their vehicles. Our noise “laws” in Hawai’i are NOT enforced. The modern 4-valve ICE Mustangs deliver deafening noise to my abused ears. I’ll be glad to…hear…ICE Mustangs go the hell away, frankly…
Wouldn’t like that job done out of warranty! Thought the tech would have used a trim removal tool to remove all that plastic trim, I was cringing as he just ripped it out. Looks a real toy shop for Mustang owners Pete. 👍😎
I don't agree we all need petrol even if EV does the main chorus, that's coming from an EV enthusiastic. Its all about fun classic or racing petrol cars.
Hi Pete, that blue Ken Block tribute Pony car looked fantastic. Same can't be said about the white one with the blue alloys 🤦 Will be interesting to see how the new software benefits the Mach E's range long term.
Hi Ped Guess I am a dinosaur but Mustang is a V8 muscle car, and I love them. I cannot predict the future, but the EV transition has a rocky road ahead.😉
Assume that would be under warranty. Does worry me about BEV, while less parts, the remaining parts are expensive and in this instance lots of labour. Last time I looked at a strut brace was for my Rover 214 lol.
It seems mainly Tesla have mods but not UK cars. Maxton slow in developing bits for Cupra Born or ID3 etc. Your strut brace seems a costly upgrade for little gain ?
Mm, must be disheartening being surrounded by those glorious V8 Mustangs then having to slip away in an electric 'Mustang'. Can't wait for the video on the 800hp blue one!
🇦🇺🏁💚💛 only 1 Ford Mustang & that’s a V 8 Mustang. But I am from the old school . Too me still a lot of Problems to be fixed + it should not be called a Mustang. The sound is not there. Thanks for a wonderful video mate.
Hello buddy, just back from Whitby and York for a night before heading down to Ilfracombe for a few days, I’ve got a feeling I’m not going to catch up quite yet. 😨🙂🤪🇬🇧
Out of curiosity, maybe a silly question but, do you need to inform your insurance and DVLA about this minor changes to the car or not?, mind you, I'm not an EV owner or ever driven one.
Yes absolutely ! Not the DVLA so much but also inform your insurance about any changes you make to your vehicle no matter how small. Best be safe than sorry :-)
Mate.... that car may be all sorts of things.. but it ain't no Mustang. Ford's marketing department must be staffed by 20 something year olds. They have no idea what a REAL Pony car is all about.
Peter it's John stoner i hope to meet up at GoodWood members meeting ,if you can send me a email ,but i like seeing the work shop at Eastleigh because my friend loves Lotus cars
There is something audibly wonderful about a V8 Mustang, but lets be honest, Ford sold the Mustang soul to the gods of marketing with the underpowered barge that was the Mk2 (something I see a few of the misty-eyed folk on here have quietly pushed under the carpet of automotive history…), so quite honestly the Mach-E has nothing to be ashamed about. The Lotus Emira is a truly gorgeous and wonderful sports car … lets hope it does not fall under the Lots-Of-Trouble-Usually-Serious curse of the brand 😉
