I don't know, they were suppose to be representations of their current state of minds since they were both afraid of their own twisted inner thoughts hence Leopold and box demon. Then once they pushed their fears aside and decided to be in sync and work together those same thoughts were then mirrored right back to them. Also honestly this "problems in a box Simmons" should have appeared as a plotline earlier in another season and had a story built around it just like Leopold was for Fitz, it would have made for a better buildup for this episode. Something like an LMD Simmions that tried to kill her and everyone, or say if this "problem box Simmons" had been manifested by the monolith energy back when they thought it was a fear dimension portal and it kept appearing over a few episodes to basically haunt her, just to have something else she had to deal with besides Fitz(2.0)'s mental breakdown. Another possible version could have been Simmons had been assigned to do experiments on captured enhanced individuals when she was undercover at hydra and had to create a mask of herself that would make everyone think she enjoyed it while there, but she feared that she was becoming this new persona too much, as hydra was comparing her to being the next Daniel Whitehall, even calling her madem hydra as a joke. This could have then been a little twist for why Ada choose that nickname in the framework, as Fitz would have known Simmions was given that name while at hydra his subconscious mind would have associated the nickname with the woman he cared about, part of her plan to keep him loyal to her while in the framework.
@@alexanderdrake7984 Look at the "little box" Simmons. She's covered in visual cues from all of Simmons most traumatic moments, like wearing the gold paint the Kree slave owner made her wear.
I love how usually in these types of best friends/lovers arguments, they talk about all they've been through together. Most of the time they reference stuff we haven't seen, but we actually watched every single thing Ftizsimmons talked about, showing just how much they've been through together over the series
Their argument was so awkward and complicated it made their dark sides fall in love with each other? This is the greatest, confusing, most beautifully weird argument I ever seen in my life lol.
I think since like, Leopold and Box Jemma are like darker counterparts of them, once Fitz and Simmons made up and made peace with each other, they did too
indeed, shows want to show love but more often than not, it come across like an obsession for me rather than love, but not them, they just show us genuine love and its beautiful
The two monsters outisde are absolutely hilarious. Them "flirting" and then Fitzsimmons running out only to find them in the wildest embrace ever. Will never get tired of rewatching this clip. 😆
I wish we had seen more of Jemma’s reasoning behind her dark side. The Doctor makes sense for Fitz, and it was even cool to see him back, but Jemma’s drkside felt more random.
Her dark side is like a mismatch of different traumatic moments of hers, like the gold paint from season 5, the clothes from when she got stuck on Mavet and the hospital garment from the operation she had to deal with as a child. It's like all the suppressed bad memories she put in her music box merged together.
Wow, its like they just needed to release their demons out with full bear just once. After that, they seem to never really have an issue with each other. A cool touch on their arc as they no longer really have any issues with each other and they fully commit even with all their baggage. Them screaming I love you is just chefs kiss in their development. They have been through so much and are so excited to see each other and spend the rest of their lives with each other, but their baggage that hasn't been dealt with just gets in the way and forces them to have this one last spat to reconcile what they've been through. I mean, honestly and truly, they haven't really let loose like this on each other as comprehensive as this. Great scene from a great episode from a great show.
Compare the dialogue here to the writing given for Sam Wilson's preaching at the end of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Can't believe they wouldn't acknowledge this show
@@nikunjdixit1175 Yeah, you don't have power here. Type as many letters as you want, it'll never be nothing more than a youtube comment from a salty however you spell your cringy name.
Fitz: Oh! Ego. Jemma: Yeah? Leo: I would love to deal with ego! Jemma: Would you?! Fitz: Guess why? Jemm: Why? Leo: Cause your Id's out there chewing Mack's head off! Jemma: OH REALLY!? **looks out window** **winces** Ow.
Lmao I just finished watching this episode and I had to see this again... Favourite episode of the whole season😂👏😅their dark side made it even better when they made up unexpectedly. This reminds me of those parody movies lol.. Love this
Sorry, but I take Fitz's side on this argument. Literally everything almost everything wrong with Fitz was caused by someone else. Ward, Radcliffe, Aida/Ophelia, his father (real or virtual). And no matter Mack's bullshit self-righteous morality, Fitz's inventions are not inherently evil or wrong. They're misused by other people, never Fitz himself. HYDRA-Fitz exists only because of Aida forcing Fitz to live an entirely different timeline. Nearly ALL of Simmons' flaws and misdeeds are her own doing. Leaving Fitz while he's suffering from aphasia, getting paranoid with Inhumans and siding with "Real SHIELD" and Sokovia Accords, etc. Because, much like Hermione Granger, she wants to be right, be a goody-two-shoes and repress/supress all negative thoughts and think herself morally superior so she can feel good... until everything goes to pot. And then she blames Fitz or someone else. She literally just accused him of building Aida (which was Radcliffe. And the argument is fundamentally flawed and prejudiced because Radcliffe and Aida only went bad because of the Darkhold, not just because she's an AI) and blaming him for becoming a dictator (which happened in a virtual timeline where EVERYONE went Nazi/HYDRA because of Aida twisting their inner desires), and called him an egotist after he nearly went insane trying to bring her back from Maveth. She's a much bigger egotist than Fitz ever was. And clearly mentally unstable, given her Id is goddamn Kayako Saeki meets Yuno Gasai.
Ngl I think you’re reading too much into it- it’s a comical scene recapping the weird shit they’ve been through, neither are perfect but they’re perfect together
@@jessicawoolridge5282 That's my logical opinion based on watching the entire series, pal. I don't care about the relationship or how "perfect" you may think it is, I'm pointing out how hypocritical Simmons (and the writers by extension) is in general.
“ME TOO BECAUSE I LOVE YOU” “YEAH WELL I LOVE YOU TOO” “THEN WHY ARE WE YELLING?” “I DONT KNOW” Welcome to how to fight like a married couple as a married couple but make it FitzSimmons style 😂
