This hits home with me so much! I’m just about to hit the 1 year anniversary of my welding business being open and I opened it at 29 years old. I’m still working my 40 hour a week job then doing 25-35 hours a week at my own shop. It’s mentally and physically taxing but it’s starting to pay off and I’m hoping within the next year to be on my own fully.

Love the business advice videos. I'm currently trying to get a 13 acre junkyard going in Florida with my mother and father. We used to have a much smaller one that did really well until the price of scrap dropped years ago... now scrap is really high again :D

Any advice on how to motivate my wife to drive lol we cant fully get ahead until she can drive herself around and i have tried for over 10 years to get her to drive im stuck driving her and our kids everywhere and it makes it difficult for my line of work👊
A great video except 4 hours sleep advice. As a 60 year old well off, I think lack of sleep was a big mistake, at least for me. I started that it in high school and did it for 30 years and it was counter productive, actually getting less done an making poor decisions. I was lying to myself that a lack of sleep was OK.
Hi Rob, you're the opposite of a FURU (Fake Guru) proper tips and not a pipe dream in sight. i've got a few apartments (or flats as we call them in Scotland) that rent out, every one of them though i've lived in at some point (My Dad's, my mum's and my own) only ever got money from the bank i could afford in the form of a mortgage, no partners, investors etc. It's a side interest as i also have a FT job and it's passive income (not much) but in reality it's a retirement fund. You're a married man, i'm a married man and we both know that in reality even though you trust your wife, the only person you can count on 100% is yourself. All the FURU's in the world sell the same dream BUT yourself and the great Gene Simmons (Frontman of KISS) say the same thing - invest in yourself. Stocks and shares go up and down, however invest in yourself, your own knowledge and put the money into your business and it either succeeds or fails largely down you your work ethic. Speaking on the railroad guy… it’s really fucking hard to explain to your 9yr old that they can’t have the cool toy or can’t do the things their friends are doing because you blew the family money on a bullshit business that failed. It’s easy to say that when you don’t have kids and you don’t have another life to be completely responsible for. If you want to do that shit on the side and it doesn’t effect the kids then hell yes…but I would never jeopardize my kids life for something that may or may not pan out.
