I just love all the slightly odd ways that you find to say each card name. The theatrics of your presentations really make them all that much more enjoyable. Keep up the awesome content.
I think if you are on more of a budget. You could replace bazaar of Baghdad with Geier Reach Sanitarium. It won't be as good but might be okay since bazaar is 1000
I was thinking of mentioning Desolate Lighthouse. But I don't think that land will do anything close to what bazaar is doing. Ultimately I think it's hard to build this on a budget. But I guess it is possible.
some of the new escape cards sound perfectly good in this too. I watched your video on Underworld Breach too, and honestly it made me realize how busted of a mechanic escape is. I kinda plan on building a deck around a lifeline/underworld breach idea. Maybe jund or naya. Naya reanimation honestly sounds absurd enough to be funny, especially since Feldon exists.
Black text on a red background (on the reverse) is hard to read. Make sure brightness and hue (color) and of foreground and background are different enough. Look up complementary colors for good pairings.
Awesome deck tech! You could play necropotence just for the fun of using madness to protect your cards from being exiled by necropotence (since they enter the graveyard from the exile or the stack, casted or not)!
Looking for a deck that is mostly control group slug that can win in cedh. Any tips? Not opposed to a more stax-y build. Just trying to get away from the same combo wins.
Oh. Sad to hear that. I saw a deck with a mesmeric orb + Basalt Monolith combo and Jace, wielder of mysteries as Wincon Now I try to build a usable version for my playstyle
Have you given any thought to tortured existence? The density of creatures in your deck seems high enough that it might be a more efficient version of Genesis for getting key pieces out of your graveyard, also not having to wait until upkeep would be nice.
I have playtested that one. Its really good with Madness creatures. You can make them kinda immortal. Infinite blockers almost. But in the end I Think the card is necessary. Genesis is good at both rebuilding handsize and rebuild Anje. While this enchentment won't help with handsize.
You're deck links are a bit wrong - they are the wrong way around and you need to delete the bit that says: -copy in one of them to make it work. Also, what can I do about this knot that I have between my shoulder blades (just a little right of middle). I'm exercising loads but the thing won't go away!
One of my favorite cards with Madness is Basking Rootwalla and I was kinda hoping that he would have been useful for this deck, maybe as combo with Equilibrium or Cloudstone Curio and some other 0 cost creature?
in golos-wanderer decks there's an issue with interaction you are restricted to venser, commit/memory, beast within coz cansading into counters is bad i think, what's your thoughts on interraction?
I agree with you. Counterspells in Golos is a bit off. Spot removal is better. I often split my entier deck in 2 piles when I play Golos. All cards I wanna hit with Golos. And all cards I don't wanna hit with Golos. If the "not" pile is to big I often tweek the deck.
@@cedhtv I read up on Gatherer. It doesn't work because Library of Leng triggers off of discard effects rather than costs - like Anje's ability. Equally, I guess it would work with your own Faithless Looting, but not with Cathartic Reunion.
Madness is a triggered ability that ignores timing restrictions. Note that this means stuff like Teferi, Time Raveler will prevent you from using madness.
@@cedhtv Library of Leng works on your own discards from effects, but not discards that are costs. LoL will work with BoB, but not Anje since the discard is before the '' : ''.
It requires to much effort for an action that does not win on the spot. Even with a perfect start... The plan can still fail somewhere along the way. It's a cool idea, but not competitive enough imo.
@@cedhtv If you get around the summoning sickness, or the druid survives a turn... That's why artifacts are so overpowered imo, easy to cast, no summoning sickness (so easy to surprise opponents). Play scepter, activate, win... In comparison to for example pili pala and grand architect (wich is a lot more fragile, for the same reason as hermit druide)
