They have already made a TON from military R & D funds from the US Government Contracts etc. If it weren't for that, Boeing would have likely closed its doors years ago.
Why would it be, at least with the civilian sector if something has a lot of flaws it comes to light and they need to do something about it. If something has a lot of flaws that is given to the military they can easily blame the military for not employing it right. Have you seen the Pentagon Wars movie? There is a lot less accountability in the military acquisition side.
I believe missiles will be most decisive in a future wars. So i go for the PRSM as most impressive development. But it also depends on capabilities you did not mention. For example is the missile resistant to counter measures the enemy can use. Like jamming GPRS signal or shoot the missile down. How fast is the missile and is it able to change its flight path to be unpredictable. What are the cost per missile. In short " is the missile Future proof"...
I can assure you Lockheed Martin has these secrets but they're sealed by the Pentagon. Also, what we're receiving in from this platform are just general information. No one's being an idiot here.
Yeah it's infuriating. We can spend untold billions on military equipment to protect other countries but our border is wide open. We don't live in a serious country. It's a shopping mall filled with economic units.
Lol just like Russian equipments only advance in Russian State TV 😱. What they claimed? The impenetrable umbrella of s400 will now protect crimea, one week later black Sea headquarter gets hit by decades old cruise missiles ☠️
So they claimed until the Iranian captured their top drone with ease. We saw over 10 US's hyped game changer machines and ammo made useless in Ukraine.
Which ones were made useless? HIMARS proved very effective and still is to this day. Abrams has little impact with only 31 provided tanks but it does keep the crew alive when it's targeted. Javelin has been and continues to be nightmare for every russian tank crew. Bardley despite it's age has been able to go toe to toe with russias best tanks and win while keeping it's crew alive when targeted. The only one i would call outright useless are the various Switchblade drones that have not performed well.
From the comments, it seems the US weapons are not as impressive as before, I meant before the Russia-Ukraine war. Those west weapons might be over inflated in terms of cost-effectiveness.
ukraine doesnt get better westr weapons for a reasons, what they get is artillery shells and antiair misles for defence.. if they will get at least midle range misles rtussian gets fked cz they ll hit all around moskva and more, thats why west doesnt want that cz after conflict may escalates
An F15 Eagle 2 costs a little bit less than 100 Mio, a PRSM is 2 Mio a piece from a HIMARS launcher at a speed of 300Km/h (easy target for any S300 and above), a mojave cost 1.5 mio (Russia proved these area good target for their Sukhoi - a cat and mouse game when a flyby is enough to make inoperable) - very lethal against civilian targets. The destroyer is roughly 2 bio a piece. My question is simple: how can USA afford this on tax payers based on a service economy which is not producing anything else but weapon and is in decline? Financially the deb is catching up and the economy is dying (if not already dead) - F15, you need 300 to 500 as the US is widely spread - the PRSM, at least 4,000 as deterrent but in case of conflict, you will soon need a production of at least 1000/month can the industry fill the demand? - the drone is very dangerous for civilian population and goat herders but will become meaningless against any conventional military forces except maybe in swarms (= you will lose them all but got the target) and the zumwalt-class is a bottomless pit of top technology but still weak against and subs or coastal defenses swarms. These weapons are more to be used as deterrence (against civilians and goat herders) but will have no practical impact on a conventional military conflict.
@@Eshrakgaming934 from the shore. Big blue water navies don’t really have a place, except for those intending to invade other nations e.g. the US. They won’t be able to approach a coastline without being destroyed.
If any carrier capable country wanted to attack somewhere far away from itself, it would either use its foreign bases or a carrier strike group. And guess what it consist of.
I'll be surprised if the destroyer is in service for more than 5 yrs. Those hulls are having real structural failure problems, and the modular design payload has all but already been abandoned by the Navy. They cancelled the gun almost 1-2yrs back as the per shell cost went beyond reason so the gun which was to be a crucial weapon is now something they want deleted altogether. The whole class of them is an financial disaster and they are struggling to figure out how to use them without just scrapping them. Sad really but technology is advancing so fast builders are not able to keep up with changes and still be profitable.
Think it had opposite problem. They assumed lasers and railguns would be ready. Also assumed the ammo for main guns would be adopted elsewhere to reduce price
I'm not surprised. The F-16 is a very reliable platform along with being fast and agile. I first saw the new version, when they were offered to India. The thing is if you update the radar and fit them with long range missles, they'll still make mince meat of 5th 6th Gen fighters. They've added extra fuel tanks to increase its range. This is a common theme among Air Forces. The older reliable and cheap to maintain platforms are being fitted with modern tech. The PAF is still using Mirage 2000s with advanced avionics, radar and missles. They're the ones that have recently been used in operations against India, Iran and Afghanistan.
With fancy names like "Hellfire, Harpoon, Javelin", and an assortment of fancy acronyms like "MLRS, ATACMS, HIMARS, MOAB" etc. Every single one of them a certified "Game-Changer"😅. No arsenal has been more overhyped in modern combat history 😂
So. you are talking a new version of planes first consigned (F-16 is NOT for USA!) in 1976, another large recon drone, a single ship ( the last of a series of three, instead of the tens of them planned...). The new rocket is interesting and useful instead, so one of five being not just a stopgap patch is actually good. So, no news about the T-7 or the increment three for F-35?
The US does not. I repeat "Does not" give out information that would jeopardize its national security. This video is mainly to present a view or gain viewers.
There is no other superpower, Russia can’t even take the poorest country in Europe and has lost more men and equipment trying than America has lost in every single conflict and war it’s been in since the end of WW2 combined😂😂. I would struggle to call Russia even a regional power anymore and China’s a joke whose last war was 40 years ago against Vietnam and they got slaughtered. The only chance of the U.S. facing off against a Superpower is if we have a civil war. The U.S. navy is attacked with the best ballistic and cruise missiles Iran can build from Russian designs, plus sea drones, shaheeed drones & U.S. underwater drones and not 1 U.S. warship is scratched. Russia has to deal with just sea drones and an occasional subsonic cruise missile and Russia has lost 30%+ of their Black Sea fleet(flagship included😂😂😂). They are not on the same level
What Super Power would the US face? Russia? They can’t even beat a third rate Ukrainian Military. China? Their third rate military can’t even take Taiwan. So unless you’re talking about an Alien Military….There is no real threat from another “Super Power”
In what situation would it get into a dogfight? Even if it did: it can, aim-9x sidewinder launch doesn’t require the F35 to directly face the enemy. It’s simple, there isnt anything more advanced than the lightning
So strange, that after all those stealth aircrafts, US decided to build F15 and F16 vol.2. Dont even think its f15 and f16. They have AESA radar, much more powerfull engines, EW... Sending THOSE to Ukraine would...but no way.
I wanna know how our countries going to be able to afford all these missiles and missile technology and radars ? Seriously, how’s our military going to afford the cost of paying for a fleet of B21 Bombers and the NGAD fighter’s when every three months they’re telling the American people they don’t have enough money to afford to keep our country up and running and they’re gonna have to shut down our government ? Especially at a time we’re sending Ukraine hundreds of millions of dollars and facing the very real possibility of going to war with Russia, China and Iran simultaneously !
America would have no issue fighting the new axis, if you knew anything about our military and capabilities you would know. Our gdp grows every year and we have always been buying new technology and systems. It’s not like this is all happening in a year, all this stuff will be coming out over the next 10-20 years.
@@andreww1225 Really, well if you actually did some real research you’d find that the United States GDP is 4.5 trillion dollars per year and our government can’t even pay back the interest on our current national debt , we’re currently paying out over three trillion dollars a day in only interest. Another words our country will soon be bankrupt and that’s not including what the BRICS nations are about to do to us ! Go back to school keyboard warrior and study economics
USA is not number one in military technologies and commercial technologies, now china is the number one both of these technologies, and most of the people of the world know that 100% clearly and for military technologies and aerospace technologies Russia is number 2 and USA is number 3 in in power rank.
@@wuppas They have a saying in America, Fuck Around And Find Out. The U.S.G. has not turned the dogs loose in 80 yrs. If they ever slip their leash any country that fucks with them will regret it.
