The U.S. Army's ATACMS, recognized as the pinnacle of modern precision strike artillery, has long been a stalwart force. Yet, in the ever-evolving landscape of military technology, what proves effective today may not suffice tomorrow. Recognizing this, the Army is forging ahead with the development of a cutting-edge long-range weapon-the Precision Strike Missile, or PrSM-an innovation poised to succeed the aging ATACMS.
Recent demonstrations of the ATACMS's ability on the Ukrainian battlefield, where it played a pivotal role in a successful strike against Russia's helicopter fleet, mark a significant achievement. Yet, this success prompts a forward-looking perspective. The baton is poised to be passed, bringing with it the anticipation of even greater capabilities and strategic advantages in the ever-shifting dynamics of modern warfare. This development makes us wonder; what advantages does the new Precision Strike missile offer?

Right now ATACMS have been shifted to several areas around the South China Sea near Chinese illegal militarized artificial islands. These would be used to bring those bases under fire and neutralize them. This takes much pressure off the limited naval supply on US Task Forces if a war was to break out. Yes, as PrSM comes on line those will be immediately sent to the western Pacific where with the ranges stated would make them a very powerful support and deterrent because PrSM would be able to hit China from points in the southern Japanese island chain, Taiwan, and all around the island countries in the South China Sea. Then I can see all the extra ATACMS being moved to Eastern NATO countries and UKRAINE!

Ever use a mouse? That's the future of fighting. Drones use game controllers (everyone knows mice are more precise). AI Robots rule the ground. The only battles left are in the air, space, and in the sea. Land wars are obsolete.

This is just one of the outdated systems there is no doubt that this is one of the last multiple rocket launchers that is precision if you have the correct GPS coordinates and what is good it is not difficult to train the army to work on it, but since in the East for such systems it is completely complete driving military school which gives a non-commissioned officer each of the non-commissioned officers is capable of being just as accurate on much older systems Which costs much less. But there is something that very little is said about, The most recent missiles should be listed via the G3 and G 4 networks as well as the drone, but this applies only to underlinemissiles. However, with the introduction of 5 G can very soon almost all types of ammunition will be accurate in 1 cm, this type of guidance will be able to be used in addition to rockets and grenades for 12.7 mm caliber, so what until yesterday was an anti-material rifle will be the most accurate weapon tomorrow. No matter how much the West pays attention to finishing it doesn't mean that such weapons are better, What's more, I think that all those soldiers who are used to feeling comfortable at all times when they find themselves in difficult conditions I think that such a soldier will surrender much sooner, especially since so far all Western soldiers have mostly been exchanged and even returned as soon as the conflict is over, there are nations or these nations that in the last 150 years in every war if they fell into the hands of the enemy would be immediately They are killed and simply surrender is not an option for them, even if they are seriously wounded.

Too bad it will cost an arm and a leg. I bed Russia will produce something that's compable to those for a fifth of the cost. I guess that's what happens when the military complex has a monopoly on arms sales.
