Hello Ginny, the more I listen to you, the more I realise how fortunate I am to have stayed firm and true to myself by being exactly what you have outlined here - authentic, empathetic and visionary even in the midst of so called leaders who were anything but. Thank you. I'm glad there are more of us out there than we realise!

Looking at so many managers/ leaders around me who are not at all authentic I started believing that the kind of leader I am is not valued. I am told to be less authentic, less passionate and basically be a yes boss person. I know I have been authentic all throughout my career but then I keep finding myself around leaders who don’t believe in these values. Have you ever experienced this ?? I resonate with you completely but somehow I feel these don’t work in the current work environments
I hear you. I've got to believe there are more of you who might be hiding. Seek them out and if they aren't around, might be time to find a new organization!
