to all of the men and women who have served or are serving in the armed forces, i thank you for your service. without all of you, i will never be able to grow up and be the father i want to be. i salute you.
The lyrics have a deep meaning. It’s really a shame that rock/heavy metal/etc. is being taken over by the rising music genres. Edit: Wow, didn’t expect to come back to so many likes. Thank you, I suppose.
There is plenty of good artists in other style than rock and Christian rock. There some good rap even if I couldn't give any in english but can name à few in french. Many metal band have ass kicking musician and great lyrics (Gojira for exemple whos are extremely engaged for ecology) Etc.
This is the first lyrics video for Wrong Side of Heaven that I find in almost 4 years. I'll pray for copyright to not erase this priceless gift of RU-vid.
This song Remembers me to a good old friend who died in the army and I miss him so much I remember how often we hear the band before he called back to the army I know I write some letters wrong but I hope you guys know what I mean with this I start cry every time I hear this song today its his birthday and death day about 5 years ago Rest in Piece my old friend I hope we meet again in another time
I'm not going to say much. But I will be joining my squad soon, it's nice to listen to this song. It helps ease the mind of the sins I have committed protecting my proud flag. May God be merciful as we pass onto the other side
I'm on the wrong side of heaven and.,.. the righteous side of hell.... that's exactly how I feel right now about my life and situation so .... maybe one day it'll be better for me!!!!
Once again there is no correct answer to this question Possibly it could mean physically somewhere in the middle, like earth, spiritually neither good nor bad, just Human. This is what its like to be human, bad happens but so does good, but at that point in time to much bad has happened so your on the righteous side of hell
Tanya Spence If I may be so bold as to lend my machete to your intellectual thicket... The wrong side of heaven and righteous side of hell, refers to the soldier's lament for the horrific things done in battle. (I've met my fair share, and held the line.) It's about knowing that you're doing the right thing, even though you want to throw up and give in. It's about being the one that hasn't come back, though they returned alive. It's about knowing what you have done, and not being able to make peace with your actions, but having the understanding that without your actions there would be much more blood on your hands. And it's about the final decision most vets make, rather than carry forward with the pain and recollection of the horrible things they had to do. (The Soldier's Lament)
@@guardsmanom134 that's deep. And a good way to put it. My opinion. With the exception of extreme behavior (undue torture and the like) all that blood is on the hands of the ones pulling the strings. On the street one man shoots another. Who's to blame? The man. Not the weapon. Soldiers are weapons to kings and presidents. So who's really to blame for the blood spilled by soldiers?
My cousin ((Active duty, New York National Guard)) introduced me to this band after he told me they would play it at boot camp. I'm just wondering if I'm going to listen to this after my big decision in January. January is when I turn 18. Therefore I'd be old enough to join the military. I'm currently considering the Navy to follow the footsteps of my uncle. I am also considering the Air Force, in which my best friend is currently active duty.
Has anyone else noticed that in every heavy metal or hard rock song, they have deeper meanings? And dirtbags decide to ruin that with trashy songs that have absolutely no meaning. I love this song because although it sounds loud and stuff, it's meaningful and honest.
“I spoke to god today and she says that she s ashamed what have I done what have I become I spoke to the devil today and he says he s not to blame I understood because I feel the same “ This hit me so deep
I heard from God today And she sounded just like me. What have I done? And who have I become? I saw the devil today. And he looked a lot like me. I looked away. I turn away. This song paints a powerful mental image.
Thank you for the lyrics video. I heard this song for the first time yesterday, and I'd love to make a cover of it. It really hits home to me because I'm a veteran.
Survivors guilt is terrible. Ptsd is a living hell. This song is relatable. To all the vets just pick yourself up and go through life even if it hurts.
This was the 1st song i ever heard from FFDP and when i heard it i fell in love. Thx 4 uploading the lyric vid man. This should have more likes. I mean...... This song is fucking amazing.
same here I have seen in many places about different reasons for calling God a female 1. They are talking about mothers and they feel like God, make them feel strong help them protect them etc 2. As others have said in different religions God is a female, like Athena being the God or war
Literally like just over a month ago we passed 2M views on this video, now were well on our way to 3M, 2.6 BABY KEEP IT UP, THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT IN THE LAST YEAR OVER THE ENTIRE CHANNEL
I am from Sweden, but as much as i hate American politics, and some of America's actions, the veterans that sacrificed everything... The true heroes. Humans like us, that go into the battlefield with the risk of dying, and they know it. All veterans deserve the respect and attention, and are not allowed to be abandoned on the street. Last year my grandfather passed away, a wise and great man, fought in the millitary for years untill he got sick, he risked much. Support those veterans, no matter where they are from!
Yeah America has pretty much gone in the shitter. As someone who lives here it feels wrong too say it but it's blatantly obvious our country isn't a truly great place, I still will always have an unconditional love for the veterans who served for this country however
I can't watch the music video but I love this song. The video hits to hard cause my cousin is in the army and I'm so scared for het because people in this world are cruel #SaveOurVeterans
I suffer from major depression and ptsd and Ive actually watch the video its so sad to watch how vets are treated. So please by all means help a veteran they have sacrifice so much. Semper Fidelis Oorah !!!
To the person who made this vid, I appreciate that you’re commenting back to a bunch of recent people even though the video is a bit old. If you continue this RU-vid career than keep doing this :)
This song is true it is telling us, yelling at us that we are human and all those who think that "oh i'm so high and mighty" are not because we are human and Mckinna Hubbard you are right we need rock in the next century because rock music is the music that shows that no matter who you are you will feel pain and anguish
oh finally a lyric video for this song that isn't karaoke or night core thank god. I hope this video doesn't get removed bc im sick of skipping to the song in the actual music video. any1 else agrees?
I'm 12 but my father served in the marines this was his favorite song he died when I was 4 serving his country and I miss him I was going through his stuff and found this album on a CD so now I am addicted to this song
My son serves 22 years in the Royal Marines 5 Tours Afghanistan the invasion of Iraq and Bosnia, ended up with PTSD and The Marines just dumped him after that , God Bless The RBLI they saved him Along with Help for Heroes, And SAFFA. the Government did nothing,
This is such a beautified song. It actually makes me feel like somebody understands the pain of losing someone due to war. Or makes me feel sane. Like i don't have depression that kills from the inside-out
Thank you I have been looking for a Lyrics Video for this song that dose justice and for this I give you something I don't give lightly: my trust. for being my light in darkness

For ages I've been looking for lyrics to this song but they are only karaoke, and this is an extremely popular song with no lyric videos, so I thought might as well make one and see how it goes
This song gets me into tears everytime I listen to it, lost so much in life and now its like being alone is the only way I can be peaceful, PTSD has just taken a huge toll on me this time.
Before my mom broke up with my dad, he told me to never forget the meaning behind this song. I can't listen to it without bawling my eyes out, but I don't mind.
A person THE MAGICAL MAJESTIC UNICORN I know a lot of my family nearly died in the war and in the army but they never gave up and carried on putting their lives before others and all the world needs is peace but for the time being we all need a bit more hope, faith, and pride in those who are doing everything they can to help those who need it and save others some people are just not great full to those in the war and army who are putting their lives before others so they can live and have a happy life so just be great full to the life we have because some don’t make it far ❤️💖
This song to me ( songs are interpreted differently by the person listening feel free to state what you think ) is about a man trying to find himself but the demon in him is making him have doubts and the angel in him is trying to make him a hero but thats just me
Awesome! Been listening to them all morning since discovering them yesterday (I heard Sham pain on kerrang radio) I think this has to be my fave song so far! so glad i discovered them
Širom otvorenih ruku stojim sam Nisam heroj, i nisam od kamena U pravu ili ne, jedva mogu da kažem Na pogrešnoj sam strani raja i na pravoj strani pakla
The never-ending paradox: song's with meaning behind them don't have much attention, while song's that only can stuck in your head have attention in 8-sigh numbers.
Do you want a actually run down of what you have done?! No i don't hate you. I am just sitting here with my face buried in the pillow and i think about you. Im sorry i didn't see you were coming apart. I just saw me getting stronger. I didn't think about anyone else. I hope you read this one day. I turned out to be a really strong person. In the end . i know that nothing is going to break me.
This hits close to home. I want one of those arms wide open. PTSD hasn’t taken me yet. I feel ashamed of America for the destruction of the veterans. God bless
