Being an old divorced fourth generation vet, with TBI and PTSD, that was homeless for over 3 years and now I exist under a VA homeless program for vets. So yeah, this song always hits home hard for me.

My dad served 32 years active duty united states army he did 4 tours in iraq and a couple years after he was medically retired he was killed in a motorcycle accident in las Vegas and 5 finger death punch performed at his funeral a great group of guys . Much respect for all our veterans past present and future

Hard to watch as a daughter of a vet many return damaged in some way. And yes, there are not enough services available when they return. List at the end shows that government not doing enough, thank you to all of them for stepping up. God bless all our military folk and families.

I really enjoyed ur reaction 2 this song. I've always had mad respect 4 vets. My father served in the army 4 about 20 yrs, he did 2 tours in Vietnam & almost died twice, he was shot in the back & caught malaria. It breaks my heart that some people within the government r failing them, NONE of them should b homeless, they SHOULD b taken care of properly! He had a hard time getting benefits & care thru the VA when he got sick, he passed away in 2000 from mesothelioma (cancer from asbestos). I absolutely hate that they're getting discarded & treated like crap, it's complete BS.

I am not subscribed to you though I watched your reaction on the Wrong Side Of Heaven, because I was doing a thing about getting emotional to my people. I served in the U.S. Army I was an Infantryman and I fought in Iraq. I am one of the lucky ones I never had to live on the streets. I still suffer from PTSD, but I have family to rely on.

When we returned from Desert Storm, we landed at Dallas-Fort Worth airport, and there were well over 100 people in a line on each side of us. A majority of them were Vietnam vets thanking us for our service and welcoming us home. It brought many of us to tears, knowing that we didn't go through anything like they did, and they came home to a county that degraded them.

My cousins husband was navy swcc he never told her anything about his promotions or even asked her about reenlistment. He just came home one day and said "we're moving to California in 3 weeks" and this was after he told her he was getting his DD214 in 4 days .

Five Finger Death Punch has a few super powerful videos about social issues that hit hard. They also put out a tribute to DMX called "This Is The Way" and it FEATURES DMX!!! They put it out 4 or 5 months ago! If you haven't heard it, you should check it out. RIP DMX! 💙💙💙💙

Been looking for a way to help my brothers and sisters for years. Start working full time at a homeless shelter in about a week. Sleeps 51 men with an additional 22 specifically for veterans.

I work in retail so I see a lot of people daily and I always thank anyone I see with a veterans hat or anything military related. The other day I saw an elderly man decked out with veteran attire from head to toe. I thanked him for his service and he just smiled from ear to ear and was grateful so to anyone watching who has served whether war time or peacetime I thank you for your service and for protecting our freedoms and answering the call for whatever is needed. Thank you for the blanket of freedom I sleep under every night.
